Can you guys tell me is this bad or good idea to start promoting products for couple of months only with uploading videos on youtube for that product, and use my blog or site as watermark on the video, before I can enough money to invest for article marketing or maybe ppc? I would love to hear your opinion thanks
hmmmmm but article marketing doesn't cost anything if you do it yourself? or are you planning to outsource? i'd suggest a mixed strategy to start with ... some people make it with only videos, some people make it with a mixture, but you don't know what's going to work for you until you try it
Both are free methods to use to promote stuff for Cb..with youtube videos just make sure you use domain forwarding, to the hoplink..you can use things like tinyurl but you'll get more clickthroughs on a real domain.. article marketing works too, both methods require alot of views/article readers to be successful, plenty of affiliate videos and articles out there with zero views. So make sure you learn how to promote it
Try not to depend on only one source of traffic. Diversify! I've done a lot of video marketing, some campaigns work great but some others were just a waste of time. If you do go with video make sure you syndicate it to as many video sites are possible, dont limit yourself to YouTube. From my experience the videos that worked best with CB products were Review videos and also if you manage to offer some type of free report and lead from the video to your landing page. Good luck!
Thx Garpex can you tell me more sites (good sites for CB promoting) except youtube and metacafe for promoting products
MySpace Video Blip.TV Daily Motion Yahoo Video Veoh Vimeo Viddler HowCast Graspr These are all good video sites, remember to bookmark your videos Good Luck!
Why would you only promote with video marketing? There is so much free marketing to focus on. Submit articles, Gain back links ( There are many free methods to gain backlinks on this forum ), Make a squidoo lens, (blogger, etc) The video's won't give you backlinks just visitors you will need backlinks to get your website ranked in the search engines. Use as many methods you can to get your website out there. Why would you focus on only one method. The more ways you use the more results you can expect.
Ok I understand that but can you tell me what methods should I use and describe how to do them for ex. (gain back links or squidoo lens)... Thx in advance
^ agree, I know people making thousands of dollars with video marketing but then I know people putting in the same amount of effort and not making anything! All depends on so many factors
Can you tell me the factors and maybe help another members of the forum I need to know everything about being successful in affiliate marketing so pls share. Thx in advance
so many but here are a few: keywords of the videos to get people to go to them content of the videos to get people interested watermark/links to get people to click general quality of videos sites uploaded to
Also make sure to use a tool called TubeMogul. It will help you with uploading videos to various sites.
It all depends on the quality of your video and the demand for it. If the video is high quality and viral, it's worth your time. Notice that the majority of YT videos promoting a product or service generally receive very small views. Why? Because the crowd that's on YouTube is not typically looking for product videos. They want: gossip, sensual stuff, violence, stupid stuff - hence the success of The Fail Blog - and entertainment. The most stupid stuff you can come up with is likely to get passed around and generate traffic to your blog with your Clickbank links. You'd almost be better off producing a video that's unrelated to your product and which generates loads of views then one about "forex" for example. Just my opinion. P.S. - There is nothing wrong with having product videos just to illustrate you product, but if you want sales, then you need videos that generate tons of traffic.
I have 89 videos on you tube for 89 different clickbank products and have only gotten 1 sale so far. Videos are professionaly made. Not sure you tube is best for making money online products or other products. Anyone else having luck with videos on you tube converting into sales? Mike
^^ You may want to narrow the product down and focus solely on one product as opposed to 89 different products. Think of making a video as writing an article. Provide a solution to a problem. For example, if your talking about health care reform, you could use a health insurance lead form from a CPA network to put on the videos. Since the target audience watching would likely be towards health insurance, your bound to get a few leads from the video possibly. Assuming you can create a entertain viral video on the health care topic.
