i do not think it is right for the government to keep us a live so long. I mean we were only met to live for 40 years and then die like in the old days. I believe that is why there is so much rape and killing going on. It is the world trying to even things out. Maybe in bad way but still. i think that is why mother nature her self keeps coming up with new things to kill us like AIDS and bird flu and all that other stuff that will kill you but will take awhile. What do you think?
I have a different worldview. I believe that God made us and "programmed" us that we live about 80 years now only, because when you read at the beginning of the Bible people lived much longer. Age was reduced because of sin. I heard scientists believe that the body could regenreate itself forever if it had not that " early aging programme". It makes sense to me! I agree that governements can go too far with keeping us alive. But then as long as there is quality to life, it's wonderful to live, don't you think?
Are you saying the goverment decides our lives? When we will die? Hell no, it's God who decides . Life is about growing and taking care of your children, that's why most of the old people are still alive, and you are saying you want them dead?
Advancements in the lifespan of human beings is due to better sanitation practices adopted worldwide and feel proud for our extended stay on the planet earth and not think otherwise
i was jus thinking bot this yesterday and why all these natural disasters and why so many sufffer and why so many die ? i blv the answers is Human deeds. whole world is interconnected to each and every livin thing . so u kill one there are thousands of other problems starts popin out. we as humans never cared about how we treat the place and the ppl where we live. ppl r more interested talkin and dreaming about bill gates and billions and hardly they even think once about thousands of children who die everyday in africa without food. if we change ourself, i blv the whole world will be a better place to live for our next generation.
To think that the world or "mother nature" is trying to "kill" us is ridiculous. The government has nothing to do with us humans having longer lifespans. The advancement of technology and far better living conditions is the reason why we live longer today. I understand that some believe that we are the cause of all our problems. But don't forget the accomplishments that we have done as well. We wouldn't have cures for certain diseases or have the things that make life easier if it wasn't for us "humans". Sure, there are people who just add to the problem, but there are also good people who want to help solve them. Instead of thinking of all the negatives why not just be proud that you are alive and well, and not living in the middle ages.
