Why? Does it matter where tehy are from? When theres poor people around the world who would be lucky to eat a warm meal today?
lol.. no they don't.. that's why its in the general chat section @ above's above, India has a lot of money man.. hell lot of money.. there's a huge disparity in distribution of income.. @ topic maker - which currency did you use to classify these? exchange rates can make a difference.. lol..
Wow! There's a huge difference between the #1 country and the second one. Very interesting and unexpected.
for what? Yall Indians only worry about having billionaires on the list while i said about 60% of people living in a bad environment( what will i called extremely poor) and all your can think of is having billionaires on a stupid list.. I feel bad for you guys.
By the way guy, your list is wrong. According to forbes.com US have more than 359. Also no way Germany can have more billionaires than Russia. Check http://www.forbes.com/ for more info.
60% is an old figure, the latest figure is around 26%, and it is 3-4 years old, so in actually it's close to 21-22% now. But I get your point, it's really sad, how modern rich BMW India is neglecting the poor around.
Although I forget the source of this list but I do remember Romania has 1 billionaire. Chill out man be optimistic. This is just a list. Get some fuel from the list instead of being pessimist. It is in US dollars and its US Billion system (1 Billion = 1000 million) Things have changed a lot after recession and also changing at a fast pace even now. As far as USA is concerned it is hit most by recession, USA may be in top list still but it also has lost a lot of billionaire (many of which lost billionaire status after recession). I don't care how much this list is accurate or not. And please GUY stop finding faults and we are not discussing here seo. Just chill man, guy, dude whatever
kavita said it right. We are discussing it in general section. This list may change in few months or maybe few days who cares as I am not listed there. So I didn' have to worry about my billionaire status.
60% might be a old figure, but i don't think the numbers is in the 20s, no way my friend. I think the rich boys in India are too busy working to get on the big boys club, rather than help the poor around them.
actually, the data isn't much better now. the government defines "poverty" is such a stupid way, that most of the poor aren't included in the BPL list (below poverty line). http://www.wakeupcall.org/administration_in_india/poverty_line.php
