Hi Friends - The problem is it used to rank well in Google India intact rank very well in India but has worst rankings in USA which is our targeted market, I have changed the settings in Google WMT 4 month ago to Target users in United states, and site has currently 38000 links according to Yahoo SE,

i have a .us domain for the same site, should I start using .us for good rankings in USA? please reply

No. Try to make links from us sites. Local forums related to local news and so on. There must be town forums and so on.

I dont think .us is going to gain any new traffic ground or rankings ground when compared to a .com. All domain names are the same in the eyes of google, its what the stuff its on there is the more important.

First find out some important points.
    1. what is your website server hosting? - If your server hosting is in US then it would be additional advantage.
    2. Get more and more links from US site, which are hosted in US.
    3. Get more relevant and high page rank website links to your site.
    4. Make sure that article are properly submitted or not ....these article sites should be US based.

How did you get a .US domain name? According to Wikipedia, registrants of .us domains must be United States citizens, residents, or organizations, or a foreign entity with a presence in the United States.

Absolutely not. The .com TLD is the BEST TLD for a domain targeting US consumers in Google.com. It is automatically assumed by Google that you are targeting Google.com.

If you have a .com domain and that many inbound links and your URLs rank well in Google.co.in but NOT in Google.com then that most likely means one or more of several things:

    1) you have lots of nofollow links
    2) you have lots of cheap links that are being devalued (like forum sig links, spammy directory links, etc.)
    3) most of your links are from domains with a .co.in TLD which is assumed by Google to be targeting Google.co.in and consumers in India.
    4) you site is hosted in India NOT the US.

If you want to rank in Google.com you need links primarily from sites that are targeting Google.com, NOT from domains with a ccTLD of .co.in.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    1) Most of them are dofollow 1270 according to GWT is they show up nofollow links also?
    2) Agrees.. most of them are from forum signatures and blog comments but they are good forums like DP and other good reputed forums and blogs
    3) nah Most of them are from .com only
    4)site is hosted in USA
