my main site is at http://www.belmos.com i am having a blog at http://www.belmos.com/blog,,,,, it is wordpress blog,,,,,, i am having 100+ posts in my blog but my traffic is very very very low like 5 per day from google,,,,,,, i am keep on updating my blog and i am building links but no traffic,,,,,,,

i have not added tags to my blog posts, do tags is important for google search traffic

 

bing is best for traffic, once u get good rank in bing

 

I don't think tags has anything to do with the google search traffic!

As far as I know, search engine such as Google pay little if any attention to meta tags in an effort to improve the quality of search results!

 

i have blogs on wordpress and on blogspot. i get most of the traffic from blogspot. it is also depends on your long tail keywords try to target them.

 

Tags have nothing to do with traffic, that's true. They don't even have so much to do with serps.

You are getting no traffic because you are not reaching your audience neither via SEs nor via referrers.

 

You can use tags, tags also some helps to us.

 

Better you do some SEO work for your blog like social book marking, article submission, and forums and so on. It will help you to get more traffic.

I can tell English is probably not your primary language? I'm not trying to be mean or anything but just from reading the first sentence I noticed a few mistakes. Just make sure to take your time and write as clear as possible. Even your title is on your top blog post is wrong:

"3 Secrets to Loss Weight within 3 Months with Diet"

should be

"3 Secrets to Lose Weight within 3 Months with Dieting"

Tags do help with your rankings which will help with getting traffic as they help with some internal linking structures. Always use tags...

 

Maybe it's the competition. Here is the number one site when searching for weight loss: http://www.webmd.com/diet/default.htm

You will need to drastically step up appearance, content, and marketing to get more backlinks before even remotely ranking with sites like this.

 

Though I have much less posts but I am facing a similar problem for my blog http://coffeetabletalks-mk.blogspot.com/
I have tried everything possible - signed in to Technorati, blogcatalog, have been forum jumping, following others blogs, trying to reach out relevant audience BUT everthing seems to fail

I even update my blog on a regular basis like posting once a day. So where am I lacking? My blog is basically on computers. Confused, confused and confused!!!

2. Create a sitemap and submit it to to google via google.com/webmasters
3. Post comments in related blogs.
4. Use more useful wordpress plugins to improve seo. Search google for Wordpress plugins

It looks like your main site gets good traffic, so you know what you're doing.

Install the All-In-One-SEO plugin for Wordpress. Then think about adding your categories to your side bar. You're not linking your categories in your posts or even your sidebar, so basically there is not easy way for SE's to crawl your older posts (except the sitemap, and by going to page 2, page 3, etc)

Change your permalinks to /%category%/%postname% - This gives your keyword rich URLs. There's no point to using Year/Month URLs for your type of blog.
