Add free stats not working

Hi, ive added the addfreestats counter to my new site but every time i click on the image displayed on my site, im forwarded to addfreestats.com's main page.

Ive copied the code and paste it in the index (you can see the logo so its correctly pasted) but nothing happens. Can someone check if he can see it or if he is transfered to the main page?

I use webstats4u in another site but it doesnt separate the uniques form the return visitors. Can someone recommend me a free counter like addfreestats but that actually works?

never used addfreestats, but i have simiar situation with sitemeter, this happens when you set your privacy to maximum which causes the visitors to go to homepage when they click on the links. Though in sitemeter its not set as default. Maybe in your addfreestats its the default setting.

 

have you tried http://www.statcounter.com/, pretty good free service I used on my sites

 

Statcounter or Google Analytics get my vote for the best.

There is also app's that can analyze your server logs.

 

i agreed with u, but statcounter give u 100 log for free version...

 

Addfreestats does work.
combination of g. analytics, awstats and addfreestats is the best
