    Hello!
I have collected in long period of time a huge list of 100,000 email addresses. Some of them may be expired but I am sure most of them must be active.

    1. What you should may the simplest way to earn money from this list?
    2. Which software is best to extract email addresses from a text.

I don't know about Indian law, but in Germany it's illegal to send mass emails to people who have not explicitly agreed to being send such emails. Should be same in the US. So you should think twice about doing this.

Also, try the "affiliate programs" forum section.

You can load a list into Aweber which is an autoresponder. Then you could send a mass e-mail saying something like........ You are receiving this because you have purchased something from me or joined one of my lists in the past. I am beginning a new blah blah blah......... click here if you would like to join.

Then you have free license to mail them on a regular basis. Then the trick is to come up with pertinent information on a regular basis. But you can sell to them every time you contact them.

Blah blah......here is my newsletter blah blah........by the way........I use this product and it is great because.....blah blah blah.......here is the link.....www.thegreatestproductintheworldbecauseIsaidso.com...... this is supposed to be the greatest product in the world because I said so .com but it doesn't seem to come up that way.........oh well what do you do??

    Just for starters..... :)

They do........however, if you intend to market to a list.......the best way is through an autoresponder. The most widely recognized is Aweber and the next is TrafficWave. My experience is that if too many of your e-mails "bounce" TrafficWave will not load the rest of them. So say only 1% of your e-mails bounce but it just happens to be the first 1% the rest will not upload. I do not have personal experience with Aweber but I am quite sure that if you called them, they would be able to talk you through the process of setting that up.

Yes they charge and it is not cheap. Good luck finding something that is......you know.......cheap.

I'm sure you could find something free but you are dealing with their advertisements on your e-mails. Unless you pay for it that is likely what you will wind up with. Just do a search in Google for Free Autoresponder and see what comes up.

The only other option is an e-mail blaster. You could try that......you can look that up on google too. I much prefer an autoresponder.....

    Yes, correct. http://www.aweber.com/pricing.htm

Their price list ends with $130 per month for 10,000 to 25,000 subscribers - everything above is just "contact us". You should keep in mind that only a small part of the people on your list will subscribe to the new list, so your aweber costs will go down significantly.

If you plan on loading your e-mail addresses into Aweber you must have the IP address and date of sign up. If you don't they will not do it. Without the IP and proof that they did sign up and request information from you, you will be sending spam.

Aweber takes this very seriously and would likely try charging you if you get any spam complaints from your list. They will have your correct information and method of payment so they can charge you for damage to their reputation, which is the best in the business.

Using an old list or one that you did not create yourself can get you into trouble. I have an Aweber account and I only e-mail people who used my form and confirmed that they did request information from me. The confirmation email logs their IP address and date of request.

This is the ONLY way you can email anyone (besides friends and others who know you) without being accused of being a spammer. If you have any doubt about what I said here, ask Aweber, they are excellent at customer service!

I don't think so, somehow. Not unless it's your list, and you're the person whose list they opted into, and you can prove that. No reputable autoresponder company (wisely) will let you import a random list of 100,000. And if any less reputable company did, all you'd be sending them that way would be a re-opt-in request (which would probably lose most of them anyway).

There's software (such as "Mailloop") which runs on your own PC and enables you to act as your own autoresponder, and if you buy something like that, you can send them whatever you want. But as soon as more than one or two of them yell "spam", you lose your internet connection for spamming, of course.

These stories that start with someone having "acquired" some huge "list" never, never, never have a happy ending. Understandably.

    Did these folks double opt-in?

Don't use any of your personal email address's to email these members and well use a good autoresponder like aweber and have these people confirm they want to recieve emails from you before you send them spam. :)

Do things the right way so you don't get in trouble in any way. I always report email address's when i know i did not subscribe to that person's list.
