This is what I believe is happening based on what Adflasher are currently doing. They started out as a 100% PONZI scheme and the whole shebang grew massive quickly and some recognized it as a ponzi scheme and posted this information. Others have made complaints to the police and attorney general about Adflasher. We know for a fact that Adflasher read forums as they have posted on scam.com and you can bet your last dollar that they have been here and read what has been said here too. It looks like Adflasher are running scared because they know it is only a matter of time before the police or other agencies catch up with them and are now literally scrambling to try to look legitimate and turn the membership they have to advantage. This is why they stopped selling ad view packs and the excuse about not currently having enough advertisers is exactly that, just an excuse. They never did have any real advertisers and that didn't stop them selling view packs did it? If you believe that they did then you would also have to believe that they started off a site from no members but had lots of advertisers to pay these members with as they bought unlimited ad view packs. We already know that any of the people who received traffic from the Adflasher site never paid for it so we know that it is highly unlikely they had advertisers just lined up with hundreds of thousands of dollars to give away to people who are only going to click the adds for the 100% return in an hour! As it was a ponzi using one member's money to pay another there is going to be a lot of unpaid members whose money has simply gone to other members and into the ponzi operators pockets. So what do you do when you are running a ponzi, the spotlight is on you and the police and attorney general have been informed? You try to stay out of jail by paying off the people who are owed money. You might notice the money they are now asking for is divisible by 15, a coincidence?, I think not! The $60 they are asking for for premium membership is a fee that is not refundable and money that can be used to pay off any complainers with. Take note that the money is for a useless service, if everyone did it then everyone would be in the same boat that they would be in a lottery for ad view packs. As ad view packs are no longer being sold due to their not being any real advertisers, any real packs from real advertisers are going to be very few and far between. We already know the traffic is junk an d any savvy advertiser would not spill thousands into this type of advertising, especially for no results. The premium membership stats that you are guaranteed to earn $120 or you get another year free, so if you cant scrape up earnings of $60 in a year from their premium membership you will get another useless year of premium membership for free. So, it has gone from double your money in 1 hour to double it in a year and the ad views now pay 10c instead of 30c. Now that eyes are upon them and that they are trying to look legitimate, they will fail miserably. Their traffic is absolute garbage quality so who would want to buy it anyway? Anyone giving these scammers $60 to legitimize their ponzi is just throwing their money down the toilet. If I was receiving traffic from there to a web site I would create an entry in the .htaccess file to use apache mod rewrite to send traffic refered by them to this thread or an anti scam site and would suggest that those who have complained about this traffic do so if they want to make a point. I think this will help put it into perspective. I'm certain that they will read this and other posts in other forums and deny it but the fact that they are hiding who they are, the fact that they are evasive and wont answer questions should tell you a lot. No legitimate or respectable business would act this way, especially one who are moral, legal and ethical in their own words. Fish always wriggle to get off the hook before they are caught, this fish is firmly hooked. When the police or attorney general catch up with them they will be able to see from the timeline that there were no advertisers at the start and are probably none now. It wont take them very long to figure out that the money came out of the members pockets who bought ad view packs. If you are smart you wont waste a further $60 into this ponzi gone wrong!
Then where does the actual scam come in where they run with the money???? If the feds were closing in, they would be gone by now, not try and make themselves look legit.
I consider you one of the dumbest people I have met online, and that is really saying something! You completely ignore what I said. I agree with him! Look, they no longer take Paypal! RED FLAG!
lol how old are you? There were all the "RED FLAGS" when you were still 50/50 with believe it to be a scam. It was blatantly obvious from the beginning
Lol, how old are you? Apparently, that's why you provided a very good reason as to why it was a scam, in the beginning and continue to backup your claims as to why you thought it was a scam from the beginning, right? [/sarcasm]
lol now are you just copying me? And I might not have provided a reason why but I think Barry did all the work for me
Exactly. You didn't know wth was going on, all you did was say "scam, scam scam" like a whining kid. But you didn't say why.
I'm a merchant through the Clixgalore affilaite network and AdFlasher signed up as an affiliate. They drive a lot of traffic to the site, but like everyone else has experienced, the bounce rate is very high (like 99%). Junk traffic, no idea how they make any money as an affiliate - I ended up filtering the traffic out of my Analytics becuase it was playing havock with the site's conversion rate! Seriously strange system.
I know that I should have known better, but I made the mistake of signing up for ad flasher. Bought one of their ad packs for $15. Foolishly, I did not ask to paid out right away, but instead bought some more. There are several things that now do not feel right. On the sales page - don't know if it is still there or not - every single person claimed to have made their $15 in about an hour. That turns out to be practically impossible. When I joined in about mid September, the site was slow as molasses in January. So, instead of making the alleged $15 an hour, it was more like maybe $5 or $6, tops. And I did click through to several of the sites on there and become a member. I believe I used the site correctly. Unfortunately, I didn't know how all this worked. They claimed they were selling advertising to their clients, which apparently they were not. Anyway, about a week or more back, the site sped up somewhat, and I was able to complete all my views. Right away they solicited me to take $60 from my funds and buy a premium membership, and like a dummy I did. However, I have noted several changes in the "business plan" over the past week+, and in every instance, it involves a lower payout to the members. After having requested payout of my remaining funds, which was now 7 days ago, (still not paid) I was offered a refund of the original amount which I paid them along with a cancellation of my membership. I have since pointed out to them that it makes no sense to pay $60 for a premium membership, when all they are "guaranteeing" is 25 views each week, which I believe will pay $2.50 a week. That means it would take nearly 6 months just to break even, not including all the work you would have to do. Now, today, they have changed the plan yet again, and it looks even more unpalatable. I believe 6 cents a minute for viewing ads, then when you consider loading time etc, you might be lucky to make $2 an hour. Thank you, but no thank you. It appears I may be ahead of the game to just get my original purchase price back and get out while the getting is good. What say you? Also today, we are advised that Paypal is back up as a payment processor. Since I paid via Paypal, I think maybe it is best to make a claim right away.
Oly Writer: Unfortunately, I have the horrible feeling that there are lots of us in the same boat. I made another request for payment last night, and I will continue to make one more today, one more tomorrow, then on Monday morning I will file my claim at Paypal. I also plan to add my legal complaint to the police who are investigating, the FBI and the RCMP internet fraud squad. If he is legitimate, which seems doubtful at this point, then we will get paid. If not, then I trust he will get his just desserts.

OK, folks...here's the latest. I sent them a request to be paid what they owe me. When I got back today from our shopping trip (we live on a small island, it's an all day affair) I had received an email from them that they had refunded my original $15, plus the additional $150 I paid for extra views. I DID NOT ASK THEM TO DO THIS!!! I asked them to pay me what they owed, not issue a refund and cancel my account. However, under the circumstances, I may end up being one of the lucky ones. I have no doubt at all that they are reading this thread, and so now they will find out that I will be adding my name to the list of legal complainants. And if they think I am kidding, they can think again. I plan on sending Paypal a full statement of how they have acted, and what they have done. Yes, Paypal has also sent an email confirming the refund. I therefore suggest that if you are owed anything by this fellow, that you get a refund ASAP.
Same happened to me. When I nicely asked them if I can expect payout and when, they have closed my account and refunded original $15.00, without paying what they owed me. Still waiting for the answer to my question why they closed my account.
zeefor, If you get an answer, could you let us know? I am not going to waste any more of my time with them, but I am preparing all possible information to file my complaints. I did join one site which I found via adflasher, and I have a question in to the site owner to see if he knows anything about AF. No reply so far, but since this is a paid site, I do expect to hear something.
