PayPal Utility Bills

    Hello,

I've recently gotten my account limited, due to PayPal thinking the account was accessed my a third party, after a $672.40 payment from my friend. At first, I confirmed my address using a credit card and checking the bank statement, but PayPal sent me an email requesting a Utility Bill. The problem is that now, there is no link to send the Utility Bill in. I have a Terason Gas utility bill under my dad's name (I still live with my parents), but I don't know where to send it to. Do I fax it, or scan it? Can anyone tell me where to send it?

    Thank you,
    Vapourstreak. :)

Yeah, once I use up my money on PayPal, it'll probably be the last time I use it. Too much of a hassle, when most things I can buy locally.

Well, I know they put extra measures in their contact page, because sending an email takes like 10 steps now.

Vapourstreak: You should call Adsense and ask them. I'm not sure a utility bill that isn't in your name will help verify your account anyway.

Part of the problem is the sheer number of people opening accounts with fake information (just read the forum here for many examples). It's the scammers who make every online system harder to use for honest folk.

I thought you can send other identification like passport and utility bill? I guess you must need to call them and tell them that what other identification can you send since your still living with your parents. By the way is that first time you have received payment in your paypal?

Well, you can directly call them and ask them on where to send it.
Generally they give their email ids and ask to send it there.
So, you can do this only by calling them.

I would call them, they are fairly strict but if you are honest with them and can back up your problem they should fix it. I had my account phished awhile back and they took care of it no prob after i called.
