    Is it just me or are these errors back to haunt us ?

    Have been unable to make posts or virtually do anything..

    I'm still getting errors up to now. I refresh several times and the page loads, but get several errors before that. What's happening. This issues hasen't been resolved yet? :confused:

    Usually i get DB errors when there are like 5000 members + guests online. Now there is just 3000 and i am getting them. Was there a server downgrade or are you working on the mysql server?

    I have also been getting the DB error messages lately. Initially I thought the problem was at my end, may be something related to my browser. I then asked one of my friends and he also reported the same problem. Its quite frustrating.

    Hope the issue gets resolved soon. Frankly I wonder how the admin is able to run such a huge site. At any given point of time there are thousands and thousands of members online.

    I just hate these kind of errors, but you must see them on any forum sometime or another...

    Tried to log in several times, but failed. Hopefully I'll get to post this message...

    Sometimes, I did not even get a chance to make it to the index of the forums, :(

    But, still wondering why the number of members and guests are not decreasing to a lower number...

    Are you serious? Because this is the most popular webmaster forum on the net, it makes it very very hard to manage. As far as I'm concerned, Shawn has done a wonderful job maintaining the DigitalPoint forums. It's not as easy as it looks - DP is seperated across multiple servers and requires constant monitoring and maintenance. Quit your complaining and just be thankful you have such a wonderful site even available to you.

    Just a DDoS attack... blocked it for now, but not a lot you can do to prevent DDoS attacks.
