the 1st 4 days if august rocked for me - on the third I hit my higest earnings ever.... now yesterday and today so far have been miserable. anyone see this trend - cpc down .40 a click?
At least I am not alone on this - mine has been like 30% - 40% down in the past few days. I thought maybe they were punishing me for a particular day in last week in which I saw like 100% rise.
It's not just you. Had a couple of great days beginning of the month when the per click rate was up 50% from normal (of last 2 months), then dropped to less than half of that the next 2 days, yesterday seems to be going back to normal. Traffic and number of clicks has been consistent here so it's not that.
You guys are kinda reporting what I posted yesterday, glad but sad to see that it's not just me. I have actualy had two days this month where Adsense has beat ypn earnings, and I have ypn on 90% of my sites......... I have never seen such a drop
In September instead of people starting threads of bad earnings there going to start threads on skyrocketing earnings. At least i hope.
This is getting ridiculous, yesterday was bad and it looks like today will be even worse.... Not good.
New month, advertisers are blowing their wad too soon? Not surprising, that means PPC will be cheaper at the end of the month
Aug 11 2006 18:13 PT Hello xxxxx, I apologize for the confusing experience. As you may already know, one of our main goals at Yahoo! is to provide the best user experience not only for you as a Yahoo! Publisher, but also for the searcher and the Yahoo! Search Marketing advertiser that provided the ads displayed on your website. Balancing the three can be a challenge at times, but in order to properly do this, we are constantly refining the search results within our distribution network in order to ensure that only the highest quality ads appear within our distribution network. In certain cases such as this, you may experience a reduction in your CTR, and RPC that you noted in your e-mail. This accounts for the reason you have received lower that expected impressions and revenue. Overall, this effect will provide higher quality ads with higher relevance that are contextually matched to your website so that you may generate the revenue you come to expect from your Yahoo! Publisher account. Should you have new questions, you may reach the Yahoo! Publisher Network support team at (xxx) 555-1212. Our hours are Monday - Friday: 5:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Saturday: 5:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Pacific Time. We look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, xxxx xxxxxx Yahoo! Publisher Network Team ````````````````````````````````````````````````` no matter what the CPC ypn's customer support is amazing compared to adsense - I got this reply within 2 hours!
