How to use Western Union

    Hi i have heard that western union payment is famous, i have tried to learn about Western Union but didnt understand properly. Can any1 tell me how to use it, what is the commission rate, what is the minimum transfer amount all the procedures. And can it be used in India.

    It can be used in India only to accept money from other countries.
    You can't send money from India.

    Thanks pls tell me how to accept money, like some one from UK wants to send me money through Western union then what is the procedure.

    I have not sent money through western Union but I guess you would need the Recipient name and contact details. Thats all.

    Well, simply ask your friend to send the money on your name. And you also need a identity card to verify your name and address. (like Voter ID card, Driving License) :)
    And then you can easily get it from any of your nearby WU office.

    Ohh yes, I thought he was talking about sending money. Anways, you would require your identity proof such as voter id, driver's license etc to receive payment.
