Indonesians were once Hindus and animists under strong caste society of Majapahit Kingdom. When the kingdom fell apart, the people has no place to turn to.....they are unprotected. Islam was spread through trade, art, culture and good examples of sunans. New islamic kingdoms brings equality to everyone and we live prosperously. Than europeans came, invade our people, massacre us in millions, robbed our resources, millions died in forced labor, and intimidated to convert to christianity. We endure it for 350 years. we were victims of christian terrorism. But it doesn't mean we hate christians brothers. Indonesian christians live better than muslims in western countries. Many become top government officials and very rich businessman. I think we should stop discussing this. It is ridiculous to see christians so afraid Islam will take over their world.......It's not going to happen. But christians was once took over our world. It happened once. and we suffered terribly for centuries. But the vast majority muslims do not have the intention to disturb your life. We just ordinary people who want to live our life peacefully. This kind of accusation really hurt our feeling, it is like downplaying our long and terrible suffering inflicted by christians. Let's respect one another............ just stop this

I agree islam is taking over the west, but most of them are locked up waiting on death row. By 2012, i believe islam will taking over they all west countries jailhouse.. I don't think i will called that taking over the world. News: Just this month the west put about 3 in jail( that's the only ones we heard on the news), also more will come as US investigate this guy for trying to blow up the NY subway.

We don't have anyone on death row or "life in prison" for hiking... those are reserved for murderers and such. Is there a point or a maybe parallel we're missing?

Maybe you're onto something here Jonas. I'm sure there are plenty of prisioners converting to Islam. We could solve a lotta problems (and end some misconceptions about "peaceful" Islam) by offering to airdrop the converts into the Islamic Republic of their choice. The ones that're serving life terms or on death row could be given a slightly less cool deal but still get outta jail... we just drop them along with 'em, but without a chute. This is definitely gonna be a plank in my next Presidential run. For a minute there I thought I was gonna hafta focus on my Health platform of Mandatory breast enhancement again.

You can metion it with no problems. But to make it Really Credible that those were true Christians, You have to mention also the place where Jesus Approved Killings in His name or in the name of God. Anybody can put on his chest the name "Christian", but his deeds only will show if he really is one. ( I said that already in another thread.)

Many indonesians are died in slave labor at plantation, mining and road constructions... for example, Daendels, the Governor General introduced rodi, a form of forced labor. He set labor goals in each region, if the region fail to meet the goal, many are massacred as punishments. Many also died of disease, manultrition and torture. His forced labor is only one among hundreds of other labor and slavery programs. In 350 years of violent colonization, millions are died. And...one more thing...if we switch the religion.....Dutch are muslims and Indonesian are christians.... I'm sure you'll blame muslim and islam. I'm not blaming christians......I'm just want to inform you what christians had done to my country. Many of my friends are christians, christians and muslims live peacefully in Indonesia. Just come over to Indonesia during christmas, you'll see that christmas is a major holiday in the largest muslim country in the world. Muslims visit their christians friends, muslim organizations guard churches to ensure christians can worship safely and even largest the mosque in Indonesia is designed by a protestant architect. We have forgotten our terrible suffering inflicted by christians and you should also do the same. Let's respect one another

How about the entire muslims village that is vaporized by US carpet bombing a few years ago? US has vaporized hundreds of thousands of muslims in 21st century. US has brought many suffering by indiscriminate killing among muslims. I'm not blaming US, but you should remember these facts. Vast majority of muslims are fighting terrorism, many religious muslims are killed in fighting the militant. Many innocent and civilian muslims are killed by militants. And our opposition to these militants are also as strong as yours. Anti-terrorism receive overwhelming public support in my country and we rejoice everytime, our law enforcement agencies make successful raid. We just ordinary people who want to live in peace. Don't blame us for something we don't do... Remember that there are 1,3 billions muslims. There are only a few thousands militants around the world. The vast majority are ordinary people, who only want to live peacefully. Do you want to blame a simple and hardworking muslim cassava farmer who live in remote Indonesian village for Pizza hut bombing?
