ShoeMoney, I think I was listening to your show when I got the idea to start one. I heard from you or your guest (I THINK) that thats always money to be made in ringtones.
yup its just funny to post cause all the idiots that think its saturated so it gives them a excuse to be lazy. Meanwhile others are getting rich... still... you need to do stuff like now cause it will not be so profitable forever
Everything is so saturated, I can't make any money. Darn it. On a more serious note, those who work smarter will always make money.
Actually, ShoeMoney is right? The problem is there is so much frustration trying to figure what works for you. You have to keep testing and testing, loosing money, but when you find what works, it's so sweet! Right now, I am at that frustrating stage trying to figure out what works. The funny thing is a guy on another forum is converting 1/5. He's making a killing! Yeah, I am doing 1/5 myself but where I am advertising takes years for traffic come. I am still testing
Depends on where your traffic is coming from. If you had organic rankings, then you'd potentially be making a lot more now from Adsense content advertising on your site, than 2-3 weeks ago, because people without organics who want to give it a shot are now paying more for clicks. Likewise not everyone becomes a PPC pro in a few weeks / months.
I run a ringtone site, affiliated with mediaplazza. I started it 4 months ago, and it makes money without any ppc campaings. You need to think out of the box when you want traffic for a ringtone site, way too many are already competing for serp rankings.
Anyone know of a ringtone affiliate program that works for Canadian carriers? (CJ only targets US that I see) Thanks
A relatively new, but very comprehensive one is RingtonePartner.com You'll find there great landing pages and high payouts for USA, Canada, Australia and most of Europe. Highly Recommended!
I have a ringtone site with a twist coming up...won't be ready for another couple months though. PM me if interested and I'll get back to you when its up and running
