    Register it on your google webmaster tools account and submit a site map? How long? It depends. If your site is popular or already has had a high page rank, it can be very fast (less than a week). I've heard of people complaining about it taking months, though.

    so i did the webmaster tool and it sayid this does that mean its indexed

    You can try to get index a page via building backlinks. The more solid backlinks you can get, then more will be the chances of your page getting indexed.
