Hey guys quickly, my plan: I want to become lets say success coach(NLP + hypnosis) I want to do it location idependent(online + doing workshops in place i Will be staying). I was thinking about doing Internet Marketing about personal development(something I like) to have some extra money, secondery income for me + it suits my life style(location independent). I have no problem with computers(I was working as Java Programmer). I was thinking about creating my own ebooks about SF + smaller webpages which solves some problem. I would like to make around 3000 dollars per month. What does it takes to make that much(except blogging) What do you think about personal development niche?
Being a Java programmer and being a marketer are two different things Very different actually! Making $3000/ per month online without prior marketing experience is not going to be easy...but possible over time! Now it depends on how hard are you willing to work, how far are you willing to learn, and how much money and time are you willing to invest
You are true about java, what I wanted to tell by that is that I have no problem creating websites and I understand technical part of making money online.
Absolutely, I have been developing ebooks and doing very well with it for over a year now. The key thing is never releasing a product and investing all of the time in promotion unless you KNOW that it's a quality product that will help solve people problems. The other key point is building reputation of providing value and quality for people's investment in your product. My niche has been helping others to get started making "realistic" money over the Intenret, and because my current product has built a great reputation for truly working, I've had the number of Affiliates wanting to promote my book growing daily (through Clickbank, e-junkie etc) If your product can gets rave reviews in forums, directories and all of the other promotional avenues you can do really well. If it's rehashed content, it won't. I think your self help niche can do very well for you if again, you're able to prove to people that what you're offering them is unique and will help them "realistically" Best of luck with it Rajec!
Hi Ducati1198, thank you for your kind words and encouragement. I already checked your website but right know I am pretty much without any money and there are many free ebooks so I will start with them. PS: I checked your website and you should fix your permanent links.
You're welcome and thanks for the heads up about the permanent links. The guy I have putting the site together is in the process as we speak of putting things together. By the way, I wasn't looking to sell you on the book (just so you know) Regards
Ou yeah I know that, I just want to let you know why I didn't buy it. I thought it could be helpful if you know why people don't buy your books. I checked your site even before you wrote post here. I saw you posting in someone else thread. Ok so see you around forums sometime
I think you're confused. You don't just start earning 3000 USD monthly. It's a long process, and it won't be easy.
Being a Java programmer alone can make you significant income. Internet business can take years of hard work before you make residual income. But if you want to excel in internet marketing, you must learn how to do SEO. Regards
Thank your for your tip. I don't want to be Java Programmer anymore, I don't like hard programming anymore(bank systems etc). By doing internet marketing I can learn SEO, copywritting, psychology, advertising on the internet while still doing what I like - persondal development. I wanna be sort of life coach but at first i have to get trained which take some time. Meanwhile I want to create another source of income. It is cool because I can create ebooks and websites about things I learn.
That's true...classifed sites (especailly Craigslist) can be a great place to start as well. Just get to know their TOS so that you don't get your ads flagged or ghosted.
Thanks guys for all your reactions. PS: SeattlePurple: Yeas it could and I know Java but I am don't want to do that anymore. I do only which I like to do. Otherway I wouldn't give 100 percent to what I do and that would be not good thing to do to clients. If I make something I want to turn my back on ti and be proud.
everyting is easier said than done, if you really have a detailed plan, then just have s try, not matter what happened, it is an experience for yourself, and no one else can tell you!
It is compared to 3-4 years ago, but if you can keep your ads from getting flagged or ghosted there is still really good money to be made with it
