If you needed to make one dollar ($1) per day what would YOU do?

This post is to find out how something very simple for you may come to mind.

If you were asked how to make one dollar a day with affiliate, PPC or anything how would you do it. I'm not asking for you best known secrets however just how would you go about it.

If you choose to participate please provide full details on the process so we can all benefit from this world of knowledge.

Lets try to leave AdSense out of the picture. Maybe some alternative to AdSense would be fine. Not all of us are AdSense fans or even have a account

Create a website with adsense on it and spend about 10 minutes trying to get traffic everyday. Now do this with 50 autoblogs and you are making pretty good money!

 

A $1.00 a day is a great way to look at it for publishers just starting off.

Before you can even make $1.00 I would make sure you cross some things off your list.

1: A website with traffic (doesn't have to be much, but at least 25 uniques per day is probably min)
2: An idea or general idea about what the demographics are of the people that surf your site.


Once this is crossed off, its time to pick sponsors that these people buy. Find the ones that work and only focus on those sponsors in the beginning. It's not going to be as simple as throwing up some banners in most cases...you're going to have to write some things about products or companies....come up with cool ways to present the information...ect.

For promotion, it all depends on your topic or niche for your website too. Some websites can be promoted locally (which many publishers don't even think about) Some might be great at getting search traffic, some might be better at getting other sites to link to it...there is no way to go too in depth without throwing out an example and I'm biased with mine, but you get the idea.


After that I start testing content & ad placement. What content gets the most hits/pageviews? What content gets the most click-thru to my affiliate banners? Even if I have no sales, this is valuable information. You will want to make more of this content (be it blog posts, review articles, pictures, UGC) whatever it is...get more of it on your site. If you can recreate your most popular content with the same quality or better you should start seeing results.


And the most important thing: Patients.
I manage many affiliates (usually the smaller/newer publishers) that run ads for 1 day and switch them out if they don't make any sales.....you can do this if you get 500+ Uniques a day and have had other ads in that placement that work. But if your small, you've got to let the ad run for several days or weeks before you get enough traffic to know if that sponsor is effective. Be patient, run some ads/content...let it run for a week or two and look at the stats. Compare that to another test run and keep it going. Don't give up....keep testing and tweaking and you'll see results.

Hope that helps a little. Honestly, I could step-by-step lay it out for a given topic/niche but what has worked for me and others may not work for you. But these are the steps I go through (or at least some of them) before I even think about making any money.

 

I'd go with what the first poster suggested and use AdSense. Create a website that has unique content on that you are interested in and then apply to join AdSense and get some ads on there. If you spend 1 hour per day writing content and promoting your site, you should be able to reach your $1 per day within about a month.

But the method you use to get the $1 should be something you can replicate dozens or hundreds or even thousands of times.

Yeah, I'd go with Adsense to, although I don't think I'd start my own site immediately, probably just make a ton of articles on sites with Adsense revenue share (infobarrel, HowHub or Hubpages.

 

If your looking for just $1.00 you get that Cash Crate- easy.
But most of the thing I do, to make money on-line is more then a $1.00 I get from it.

This is GOOD advice...

 

I'd use yahoo answers to bring traffic to my website and let them sign up with a CPA email remit offer. That way the traffics pretty well free and builds up over time to probably more than $1.

 

Get a quality blog up and running + adsense.

Yea.... I know plenty of people making hundreds of dollars a month, some even thousands on revenue share sites like Infobarrel.com, hubpages and ehow.

 

how about some freelance work (e.g. rewriting articles by hand). $1 per day wouldn't be hard for that.

Try some affilate marketing method I mean even just free methods if you try you shouldn't find it hard making $100 - $300 a month take a look at clickbank.com

Neat how you ask people not to recommend adsense and they recommend adsense... lol.

Anywho, my best advice is to try what you know. What is something you know that you can buy online? Maybe you like horse saddles for example. Then look to see if there is an affiliate program available (directly on the site or thru a network), then make your own website about horse saddles and get sales thru your affiliate link to the horse saddle sales page. Horse saddles could be replaced w/ just about anything that has an affiliate program from apples to zebras.
