Which site is the most popular for finding freelance writers on the web?

I never buyed article so I would like to know is .. like 30$ for 500 word article to much,a little, or decent price?

$30 for 500 word article is very expensive from what I understand.

Although I believe the following is dirt cheap, I've seen around $1.5-5 for 300 word articles.

However, I'm not an expert on this stuff.

If you pay well, you can be sure that the writer is going to put in considerable effort and time polishing the article content to make it worthy of the thirty bucks for 500 words. The age old adage of you get what you pay for applies in every case where human effort is involved (as opposed to machine made stuff like chips or chocolates or FMCG). Its called 'dollars maximus, quality maximus' upto a certain point. I came across ccarticles.com where you can get 500 word article for $8 or so. There are tons of freelance writer sites on the web, just do a search for 'freelancer writer sites'.

 

I have found people on digitalpoint that will charge $5 for 500 word articles, but the quality is very low. $30 is high. I get good quality articles for around $10. You can look at the content and services sections of this form. Other good sites are elance.com and guru.com

Look at the person's ratings if you are considering this..

 

How about here in DP itself? You may visit Content Management section or BST Content section and you'll be amazed...
