so are you investing on .mx tld ? new tld making some sound in all domain forums the reg fee is something like 359.99$ in gd share your views
For $360, you will not be seeing a lot of private/small business owners buying these. That's just a ridiculous & astronomical price for a domain, hopefully they'll come to their senses and lower the price, like .fm did.
It is only $360 in the 'landrush' period (September 1st 2009 - October 31st 2009) when people pay extra to try and grab 'good' keyword domains. The price will come down to $50 in November.
Yup, you know how it is though, after landrush, nothing worth buying will be left. Also, is this one of those ccTLDs that requires you to live in the country of the extension?
the registrars just making money now the fee will come down later. thing is premium names will be sold at higher rates in landrush
Yes but we dont know the real value of it rite now we have to see slowly once its abt a year old if people are willing to develop it
few names appears to sold for 1K -3K range u can check in namepros.com cctlds section for few .mx sales but still its risky as 350$ fee is very high
The only way I'd EVER consider spending that much money is if it were an awesome domain like travel.mx or hotels.mx
The best domains all seem to be taken, and I'm reluctant to pay so much for a sub-par domain from the ones that are left
heck no. .com is it. anything else is niche. as far as resale goes at least. if you are developing - then it doesn't matter.
Nah..I'll never spend my money to this new tld, since it more worth to spend that money on seo development.
I would never spend $360/year on regging names on a ccTLD. The most I've spent is $60/year on some ccTLDs to make domain hacks.
