Opinion: A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof.
I agree with you, but also an opinion can be based on knowledge. I admit i made a mistake, asking him to prove it and thanks for the info you have provided, i shall correct my request to: Back up your opinion with evidence please.
No worries only till you fail, coolaz, plz cool down... Why are you so hellbent on getting people to answer your question for which you can always Google the world and get many versions there is to see.
I can say to my Turkish people that Adam, peace be upon him, is our father. Just because I was talking to my people doesn't mean that Adam is not the father of the other nations as well. I know why it is too hard for you to understand this truth. You are wrong, We don't follow clerics blindly, they must provide us with the proof of what they claim. As muslims, the proof must be from the Quran and The Prophet's life. We are not jews following our beloved clerics blindly (like those who believed their rabbis and broke the sabath 4 times killing the innocent people in Gaza), we follow the schoolers with evidence. 1. Shahada: you believe in the Truth and base your life on it. 2: Salah: you oganize your time and build your life, and plan for your future. 3. Zakah: you help the others. 4. Saum: you struggle against your lusts and be modest and feel others. 5. Hajj: Your travel must be noble and for the Highest purpose, and you remember that all people are your brothers/sisters and your Lord is One. These are some of the secrets beyond the pillar of Islam. If muslims practice their religion very well, you will find them the head of the world, and their countries would be one country, and no criminal countries could dare to attack them. Unfortunately, most of the muslims are following their lusts, And the Messenger (Muhammad PBUH) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Qur'ân (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and teachings). (30) "Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His path, and who receive guidance. (Qur'an 16:125)" Not all what ben laden say is right, but he said some facts and reasonable things, to be honest. Islam is telling the Truth. This is why we see contradictions and errors in your holy book that is supposed to be free from such things as it is from The All Knowing.
O.K. Don't know if you agree with this statement by New - but if so, the same doesn't apply to Muhammad himself? The Prophet may have done things your mind may rebel against - things you might find deeply troubling, but if indeed you agree with New on this, despite the troubling questions in mind, you won't question Muhammad's example - Why?
The clerics are ordinary people, they receive no revelation and no instructions from God, they depends on the message of the prophet, peace be upon him. This difference in level must have difference in rights and Authorities, this is Justice. We know some truth that other people don't know yet. It is their problem, not ours. We are not supposed to behave ignorantly or to deal with things outside of context just to satisfy those who lack knowledge. The chiefs who the disbelieved among his people said: "We see you but a man like ourselves, nor do we see any follow you but the meanest among us and they (too) followed you without thinking. And we do not see in you any merit above us, in fact we think you are liars." (27) He (Prophet Noah, PBUH) said: "O my people! Tell me, if I have a clear proof from my Lord, and a Mercy (Prophethood) has come to me from Him, but that (Mercy) has been obscured from your sight. Shall we compel you to accept it (Islâmic Monotheism) when you have a strong hatred for it? (28) "And O my people! I ask of you no wealth for it, my reward is from none but Allâh. I am not going to drive away those who have believed. Surely, they are going to meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people that are ignorant (29) "And O my people! Who will help me against Allâh, if I drove them away? Will you not then give a thought? (30) "And I do not say to you that with me are the Treasures of Allâh, "Nor that I know the Ghaib (unseen);"nor do I say I am an angel, and I do not say of those whom your eyes look down upon that Allâh will not bestow any good on them. Allâh knows what is in their inner-selves (as regards belief, etc.). In that case, I should, indeed be one of the wrong-doers." (31) [chapter 11]
Asking to broadly back something up with evidence is an argument ad nauseam. I'll answer any specific question you have gladly with an open heart
The prophet was right, so, I don't question him nor any person who is right. I hope I have answered your question NPT.
You have answered my question, thank you, Polite. This is illogical - it's backwards reasoning. Rather than simply do what the human capacity for thought requires - to look at something, evaluate its merit, and decide accordingly - it is backwards from this; it says that no matter what a human being did in life, no matter how heinously wrong, what he or she did was, in fact, "right," and unassailable. It is the end of thought, in my opinion, and the beginning of cultish obeisance. It's what has allowed every tyrant in the history of Man to rise and flourish, and what has caused misery for untold others.
This is frightening. Let us assume for one moment that Polite Teen is a moderate, non-violent, non-hating muslim. Give his/her blind faith and total acceptance of what his/her religion says, it is not a long stretch to assume someone so accepting could easily be convinced that flying into a building is not only honorable but will be rewarded beyond comprehension. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
I don't think your statement were meant for any specific person in this thread ... seams like you don't actually like the teaching of Islam and Christian so much by making lots of lame questions. But then you refused to accept any answers no matter how hard people trying to explain it to you... well sorry if I'm wrong. I'm just giving my personal views after reading all your previous posts. I was waiting anxiously for your explanation.. but now since you are ban, I don't think I can get any from you then.. Anybody else would like to answer on behalf of him..
