Site Suspended for 1+ year but still in top 5 serps

    Why?

    http://www.google.com/search?q=free+cursors

The site is the 4th one...the page title is "cursors" and the description is "This Account Has Been Suspended. Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible."

I reported this site about 3 times over the over the course of 1+ years...maybe even over the corse of 2 yeasr (don't even remember anymore). But it still ranks high in serps. Why??????!!!!!!! It has no content, it's been suspended for 1+ year. WTF GOOGLE? YOU SUCK WHEN IT COMES TO SMALL NICHES.

Funny you mentioned this. I've reported a site for the 2nd time in a year for blatant keyword stuffing (WITH light colored text and a keyword paragraph at the bottom of each page) and link farming (to 30 other sites on the same IP address). It's still in the top 5 of page 1 for a very major keyword term. I don't think Google really looks into those things. They probably just rely on their algorithms which obviously aren't working well.

Maybe its got strong backlinks ..

    Edit

And also i think Google ignores many reports coz to them its just 1 competitor trying to take down the other

Just goes to show that Google relies heavily on backlinks. I presume that the site has alot of good backlinks. Have not checked though.

It's not really a competitor site...it's been like that for over a year...but nothing is being done about it.

It seems like google fixes their algorithm but they don't fix the bugs they have in it? Reminds me of mmorpg game publishers...rolling out new features but never fixing the old bugs.

Just spam them with 100s of reports till they can't ignore it.
    That should do the trick.
I'll start reporting right now, hopefully we'll get some results.

Yeah, it's a solid PR4 with good google backlinks.

More proof that quality backlinks and pagerank = great SERPs.

That happened to me once in a niche where my site was competing with a blog that just had that stupid "hello world" default post. It had NO content at all about the niche, but the keywords were in the url and title...that was it!

I eventually kicked it's butt, but it annoyed me that the site was on the first page in the SERP at all.

I was joking about...but it looks like google isn't doing anything about it. Look at the recent caffein update. It's moved up to #2...lol.

    http://www2.sandbox.google.com/#hl=en&q=free+cursors

Maybe it's using domain cloaking and domain parking. I don't know man. Google algorithm is messed up for this stuff.
