What do you like/dislike about Monster.com and other employment sites?

    I had fun developing SalaryMap.com and now I am begining to expand it. I am looking at Monster.com, Salary.com, and other sites and seeing them as cluttered or restrictive (members only areas). What do you like or dislike about the job related sites you go to?

    Some of the first things I am looking at is a blog and a forum. Thanks for any feedback.

    The thing I hate is when you apply for a job you up getting spammed by either the job site or a recruitment firm that handled the applications and its usually jobs that I am not even qualified for.

    I still recieve 1 email per week from some company for all kinds of jobs, really pisses me off.

    You remind me of a conversation I had with an ambitious young immigrant in a factory where I was a manufacturing engineer:

    Li: I apply for inspector job.
    Me: Are you qualified?
    Li: Is it more money?
    Me: Yes.
    Li: Then I am qualify.

    Any other feedback? Is content good? Is the site too cluttered?
