Was reading a local business magazine, and app some investors are looking to push flippa out the way! http://www.lazyrevenue.com/marketplace/ They are working on this system, and reckon within the next 2 months they will take over the market. App they have like £700,000 to spend on marketing :| DAM! I signed up and it seems fine, like the old sitepoint marketplace but much quicker and easier to use with some cool features. Also get $30 free credits when you signup which is a bonus. anyhow, just thought i would share it with you. over and out
Right. Primitive site, no company/investor relations/information, no partners, no news. Looks very solid
I can't even find the contact us page. the help section asks me to register. Why would I register in a site that I can find no detail about itself ? Anyway, I was still interested in a Flippa Alternative so went to the main site, clicked "how it works" and got a 404. Went to contact Us can't find any address. Need more work to gain trust.
Just looked at their site and the design is not attractive. Some more the website listing is not active compare to flippa. I think if they really have $700k to spent on ads,why don't they design a better layout.
Looks like someone took a Sitepoint Marketplace clone script they bought in B/S/T and wants to claim 700K in future revenue to be spent on marketing. I'm almost certain those are the old Sitepoint topic icons.
Nice try mate! Obviously you own that site and are trying to increase awareness [quite poorly I must say...] Is this not you trying to get people to view your site in different sections in this forum? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1498270 If these are your marketing/advertising efforts then I sincerely hope you are considering hiring a third party consultation firm to assist you with the £700k? Nonetheless nice try in your weak attempt!
Flippa is charging too much and asking lot of information, I think there is need of such competitor to beat Flippa. Thanks for the link.
I've heard about that new marketplace at a few other forums...you think they'll catch on? If they offer more features and benefits, they *might* just overtake Flippa
The only way to build a competitor to Sitepoint/Flippa is to build honesty and trust in your clientele. Obviously this is a plug for your website, and I highly doubt you have 700,000 to spend on marketing... not a good start. Please give some links to the articles
Flippa is rubbish there's no quality on there any more, there was so really nice shites being sold on sitepoint not so long back now it's all crap that nobody wants.
