.de and .com

    Hi,

    Current, I want to register a domain with word "guide" in it. I found that .com is not available, this site is just a parked domain, nothing in it. I found domain like "...gui.de". Is that ok for seo? The content is in English :)

    It will be geo-coded to Germany - that's the only issue with that domain.

    it looks nice to see that domain as it looks guide :) ( brandable)

    but seo wise it is just "...GUI" not "....guide"

    but if you develop that domain .com owner will get free traffic for sure :p

    so best you can try to offer a reasonable money to .com owner and decide to go for .de or any other .coms
    he is not looking for GUI.de u missed the dashes :D
