    Hey All,

I just received a payment of $350 in my paypal account and few minutes after I received the payment I got an email from paypal saying that they have placed a temporary hold on my funds.

Please assist me because this the first time I have faced this kind of problem with paypal.

My paypal account is a personal account.

Here is the copy of email I got from paypal:

We recommend that you not ship the item until our investigation is
complete. If you've already shipped the item, please log in and let us know
    where you shipped it.

We have placed a temporary hold on the funds until we complete our
    investigation.

Please fax proof of shipment or proof of refund to +1-402-537-5760.
    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Thanks,

What am I supposed to do now? How should I approach this case?

I received the payment in advance for creating few websites. So there is no item involved in the transaction which can be shipped.

How should I approach this case? I mean what should I send in my reply to paypal?

Have you guys faced any similar issues? If yes than how much time did it take to resolve the issue?

    Regards

Simply go to resolution center and submit all the things they are asking for. :)

After that you can call them to get your account limitation resolved.

That is my problem as I have no idea what to write back to them.

They have not limited my account, they have just frozen the amount of this particular transaction.

ask them why you limted the account if they say the buyer made dispute or to check the payment source, then ask the person you got that $$$ to call up to paypal and tell them that he got the iteam what he paid

The account is not limited; the funds are frozen.

The person didnt filed a chargeback, paypal placed a hold on funds itself.

I have contacted the person and he told me that his funds were clean too.

In that case dude, the problem probably is in the guy that send you the money (his funds may be clear, but his account could be suspicious).

They are investigating him, so you need to wait and see what the outcome will be. In the mean time, check
    the resolution center often.

    Good luck!

In my opinion, call up paypal for best results.

Second go to the resolution center. and provide them all what they want.

    That will really work.

the best way you can do is, just login to your paypal account
submit the documents that they are asking, after that call them
in order for you to lift your paypal account.
