Bing is buying their way up the ladder right now, they'll dive back downward as soon as they stop putting millions into advertising every day. Sure some of their efforts will remain present, but they won't be nearly as well off as they are now.
I look at it like ebay, who in the world can take down ebay ? nobody, i think Google is king, and will remain king for years and years to come, not easy to dethrone a king.
Google is well established, earlier it was yahoo and google swallowed yahoo in everymarket which is in the internet. it took a lot of work and time for google to reach where it is now and i dont think that anyone else wud even come close to google even if they do then google will leap ahead so that they cant come close to its reach. jus my 22 cents hehe
Google has a high quality search resullt and high standard on their advertiser. That made them hard to beat because everybody knows Google for its relevant Search Engine results.
Bing is a great tool and a great revolutionary Search Engine, and it will def have its share, But will not Kill Google!
I agree, Google keep banning good sites. I try and find specific content on a site by typing things like "site.com + some keywords" and it's ranking 30+ or 100+ for their own domain and content. That's a garbage search engine if you ask me. Bing is sending me less traffic, but it converts better.
I do think Bing cant kill google here in Asian most people still use google and as long as their is adsense people will still be with google...I guess Bing needs to do what google cant before they can be king of the search engine
Google will surely be still on its top position..yes, bing is continuously improving from day to day...but google is on its way also for better improvements and making more and more good features and services...
Given Bing was only launched pretty recently (June I think ?) We have started to notice an increase in people arriving at our site via Bing. According to the reports from the last few months, Bing has grown market share from 9 % to 10.7 % which isnt bad. Clearly Google is king at the moment but I think having a 'serious' bit of competition is not a bad thing and it only takes a moment to go off the boil and your competitors are in. GO BING !
"I'm going to Bing it" just doesn't have the ring of googling it. Also they made a bad name choice, in Chinese it's sort of bad luck. Bing means something like disease. - almost as unlucky as 4 which represents death. Plus google offers almost everything free, free email with pop support... Microsoft is too greedy, their greed will probably kill them.
