I’m going to start this topic with the conclusion, thus whether you read no more than this first paragraph you can walk away knowing the most necessary thing this post has to say. And here it is: Fix your broken links.

That’s it, you’re free to go now. The rest of this post is only stories, opinion and my thoughts that strengthen the point above.

So numerous times I look businesses investing thousands of dollars building their webpages, tinkering with best seo tips, or increasing/improving their content, but neglect one of the most essential problems that may be a meaningful contributing factor in reducing their credibility rates: broken links. But whether you need more persuasion, seoboxer. com/one-easy-step-to-building-credibility/ (remove whitespaces).

Well, the forum is good and I think you can get good amount of traffic on it as it is related to Entertainment (I think I am correct ;))

The best way to increase traffic to your website is to get backlinks from good websites which is related to your website's niche. Try forum posting, directory submissions, social bookmarking etc. which will help you to get more backlinks which will result into better rankings and eventually more traffic :)

Yes, fixing broken links is very good. A site with many broke links always loose credibility. Im agree with you but i think that most people just forget about it when talk about SEO.

Doing Off-Page Optimization helps. It deals with building links. Social bookmarking, blog commenting, classified ads, press release, online groups, article and directory submissions are some of the techniques that falls under Off-Page Optimization.

Want to build credibility? Then build a website with quality content, so that people come to your pages, read them, and think, "Hmm, this is good stuff."
