It sounds to me like your Sales page is off. A sales page is the most important aspect of selling on Clickbank. It can turn weak traffic into sales, it can turn maybe buyers into BUYERS and it can make sure those folk that are just about to buy the product...do. Track your ID, then track your Analytics. Push your traffic through 2 sales pages and analyse all the Data. Then find out what is working. Having 700 Ezine Articles should be bringing you a nice bit of traffic. With the right research, you can multiply your sales by 2 - I know this. Also, if your product is mainly targeted towards young people, keep the sales page snappy and relatively short. If its health, keep it confident and informative. SUGGESTION - Stop writing articles and analyse your sales till you know what is working.
Are you just using EZA? Have you tried using GO articles as well? I hear they are good for ranking on Bing/Yahoo. Just a thought. Also I know you hate the social bookmarking but you should try to do that as well. What about PR? If you are writing so many articles then writing and submitting a couple of PR releases to prweb.com won't hurt you plus some good backlinks as well.
Yeah, I have submitted to Go Articles, but I cant stand rewriting my articles. I don't know what my deal is with that, but I just don get into that. Right now, it seems like EZA is getting caught back up in whatever kind of log jam they were in, and my articles are starting to come out pretty heavy now. This week they were as slow as I've ever seen them. I just want to commit to at least 15 articles a day published by EZA and see what happens. Maybe this is a complete knucklehead strategy, but that's what I'm gonna do .
Try to diversify your link strategy because only with articles from EZA you will find it hard to rank in Google. Just my opinion...
Maybe you are right. But I am starting to rank for some pretty competitive phrases in a competitive niche with pretty much just all EZA articles.
15 articles a day is quite good. If you are in highly competitive niches like dating, get-ex-back, health, you will find that most of the top selling keywords would be saturated. There are few still available as more keep getting added to the list. EZA gets you high ranking though, still you have to be in top 3 do be salable(backlinks does work). Multivariate testing to increase your sales is another method(on lp, direct linking etc) Alternatively there are very few free alternatives, but you can do yahoo answers, video marketing etc.
Good point. What is your LP CTR? On the front end...How many visitors have your 700 articles brought to your LP? Do you have any expectation of traffic numbers to expect from 700 articles?
It could be that sales page is off a bit. My CTR is actually pretty good, I think - about 26% overall. But I'm sure you know the CTR varies by niche. I have a goal right to drive 1000 visitors a day to my best selling site. I'm dropping everything else to focus on that. Yesterday I got 430 there.
430 uniques through article marketing? I just started my site about a week ago and got about 25-40 uniques coming with a few sales.
That was from about 13 articles that came out from EZA for that niche yesterday. I figure about 1/3 of the total traffic came from search engine traffic, though. My long term goal is to have the majority of my traffic coming from search engines. So, I'll continue to write articles to drive instant traffic and build back links for the long run. I also try to post at least twice a day for my site. My goal is to have at least page rank of 3 and an Alexa ranking below 300,000 by the end of the year. Who knows if this will all work, but it's what I'm trying right now.
Guys, If you want to hit some decent money online, try doing lead generation for finance companies, maybe using PPC, and investing money into SEO into long term strategies
Those 430 visitors bringing you any sales? I am doing the FX niche right now and have about 35 articles live. Just started building backlinks to articles and have been around 25-40 uniques daily with a sale every other day or every 3rd day.
Yeah, they're bringing in sales. I write pretty decent articles. My goal is to be making 5 sales a day within the next 2 weeks. Right now, I'm only at about one or two per day. I'd like my sales to convert better, but WTF.
15 articles a day would be tough. There are much easier methods to do that earn FAR more than article writing. Trust me.
Well why don't you post them, the methods that make you money easier than article marketing. Anyone can do money with article marketing, that is for sure.
Man I admire your work. I have the time to write that much but don't have the motivation! How do you do it? lol At any rate, I wish you the best of luck!
Thanks! Yesterday I had had my first $100 day. I was pretty pumped -$110. I know that's chump change to a lot of people, but to me it represented something more than just the money. I really like article marketing because it is nothing more than a numbers game when you break it all down. I'm less than a week into my half-baked plan and have had my best week and best day ever. The best part of this whole ridiculous business is being able to scale... but for right now I want to prove to myself that I can consistently make $100 a day - and doing it in a way that I think is best - not what I read on forums or anything like that - but based on experience and my own testing. And the one thing that is working right now is dropping everything else and completely pounding the one niche that was converting best. I am now getting a sale in every 51 hops, whereas before when I was sending less articles a day for that niche, I was only converting every 150 or so.
I love your sincerity in sharing the truth and also the hard work. Keep going, you will reap success.
Thanks, I appreciate it. If there were a thanks button on this forum I would have pushed it, but I couldn't find it. I already have received one warning from the moderators of this forum for posting stuff on this forum that didn't provide "value" to get my post count up. I was left wondering why I care what my post count was and deleted that email.
John, Great work, you and I started at about the same time, however I am not doing as many articles. I am outsourcing a lot of them and writing about 2-4 a day myself. Are you doing any link building for your most viewed articles to keep them ranking? I am currently at 6 sales in the FX niche and my traffic is steadily climbing from 5 visitors a day to about 30-40 a day now. It's like you said, just a numbers game, more articles, higher rankings = more sales. I am hoping to get this to about 100 or more visitors daily over the next week or so.
