Hello as of now on my Customized Marketing Solutions website I am using standard html. I can read html very well and I have been researching a lot lately on CSS. I even bought a $25 template.
Do you have any suggestions of things to avoid or best places to start?

I would recommend looking up online tuts for learning css. Also, dont buy any more templates. there are many websites out there that will dish out free templates that you can learn from. When I was learning I used webshapes.com and it helped me a lot to just see actual working code and then learn from it.

If you are good with html then you will have no problem with css. It is very easy and will make your site's coding look much better. Good luck.

    Bad newbie!

No more paying for templates. Learn CSS and you can build one for yourself in no time. ;)

buying a template is what you do when you want a template and don't want to learn to code. If you've decided to learn, spend your money on books or something, or just go buy a tasty ice cream : )
