How popular is online dating in India vs The Rest Of The World?

Well Good and bad is everywhere so you can't say anything about it but there are countries that don't take online dating bad and everything is open in such countries and i am glad mine is still not among those ..!!

I think online dating in India is not more popular than the rest of the world.

 

Indian has a big market but I doubt it's popular in India yet.

I'm an Indian and i don't think that online dating is that common in India, compared to other parts of the world.....

 

I thought in India arranged marriage is very popular,am I right?

 

People here in India don't consider Online Dating as DATING. It's like they don't call a spade, a spade.

You can find female profiles in India receiving a gazillion requests daily from males that read like - "Hi, I wanna make frandsip with you" - "Hi, ur beutiful, i love you" - "Hi, I love your eyes" (This without the girl having any single pic of her own on her profile)

Then, there are real love stories blossoming on the internet. Orkut, Facebook, Hi5, Yahoo! Chat are very common mating grounds for young Indians these days.

So you can safely say, its more of a between situation. It is and is not common.

 

I would say us is way more popular in daiting then india,. i would say 80% us and about 5-10% in india

 

I'm not from india, I think it's uncommon in india.
