    Hi,

I am a newbie and i am interested in learning about cpa affiliate marketing. I have joined Maxbounty and recently been approved. I have a few questions here to ask some experienced mentors.

    1) Why need a landing page? I see that advertisers already have their own landing page. why do we need to create one? waste of effort and time?

    2) I seen some cpa landing page that marketers made. How do they get the code? I mean The form submit code ( zip code, email ), from the advertisers?

    3) So is like user click on my landing page --> then they go to the advertisers' landing page. A bit weird? why can't we just market the advertisers landing page?

    Advice appreciated.

You don't need a landing page in order to get sign ups.

Having a landing page is one of many promotional ways to advertise your offer. Some marketers will build one and then promote it to get leads. This will bring in better conversion rates for your traffic because the people who visit your site are supposedly interested people who want your product.

Some marketers will custom build a landing page using a programmer and web designer.

Thanks for the fast reply. When we sign up for cpa, and ready to promote the offers, each offers we will get a unique affiliate link right? To track the sales etc.

why do they create own landing page while they can already use the existing advertisers landing page? I don't understand the conversion rates part. If you build traffic to the advertisers landing page, traffic also converts?

    Advice appreciated. :)

To be honest i don't really use a landing page myself, so im not quite sure on that question either.

Yes if you sign up for a CPA network you will get your own tracking link for each offer (at least a legitimate company should offer you one).

There are several reasons for having your own landing page.

    1) Sometimes affiliates feel they can boost conversion rates by pre-selling the product or they feel they can make a page that converts better than the merchant.

    2) Some affiliates want to have an opt-in form so they can capture visitor info to market to later instead of just giving the visitor to the merchant.

    3) If you do Adwords PPC, Adwords only allows one ad per domain, so if the merchant or other affiliates are advertising for that offer you'll have a hard time getting approved - therefore you need to send traffic to your own domain 1st.
