VISTA vs Windows 7

I look for a new OS to my laptop.. And i`m confussed, what is the best for that two OS???

Please help me...

 

Windows 7 is way better, Vista is nothing but a resource hog. Go for Se7en

 

If you purchase a new laptop now , you will get Windows Vista with option to upgrade to Windows 7 . So go for Windows Vista now . You can upgrade to the corresponding version of Windows 7 when it comes out .

 

windows 7 is infinatly better than vista its alot less resource hungry

 

Microsoft is gonna release Windows 7 on October 22nd. Just wait for a month and purchase Win7. There is a great improvement in win7 in terms of security and performance.

 

Windows 7 is 3x faster than Vista and it is also better.

how come so many people are saying windows 7 is better , have u all used it or read on net

 

I have never had any major problems with vista so I would not hesitate to recommend it

Windows 7 by far.... don't even think of Vista. Windows 7 is what Vista should have been.

 

I personally use Vista but I would too recommend you Windows 7 as it is much more less hungry for resources as Vista is! Also, the feedback for Windows 7 is great till now. It will be launched on 22nd October!

Definitely Windows 7, when you purchase your laptop it should come with a free upgrade to 7

 

Windows 7 is so much better. I have tested it and here's what I have found from it:
1. Security level is better than in any Windows before.
2. Installing drivers is automated and very fast. When installing Windows 7 and you login to your desktop it will first download all latest drivers and install them. Everything is automated.
3. Lot's of graphic stuff (wallpapers, better graphics, sounds and so on)
4. Is easy to use, but still Windows XP has been most easiest to use
5. If I'm correct I have also found that you can program Windows 7 (desktop and so on)

Those are positive things that I have found. Only bad thing that I have found is that sometimes when you plugin HDMI to your computer resolution in your TV is not the same than in your computer. I'm not sure is this because of Windows 7 or because from my driver but in XP it worked correctly.

 

I prefer to use Vista as it is quite stable. Windows 7 is still in initial stage.
