Please let me know your opinion of how much this domain name is worth. I have a Sedo appraisal of €1500 (Euros) but I simply will not sell for that much. Average daily unique hits is 35. About 5 - 10 of those are from search engines and the rest straight key into the address bar. I have received a lot of interest from prospective buyers over the last 3 or 4 years but no serious offers. I also own TATTU.CO.UK. Thanks for any feedback.
Will not sell for 1500 euros!?!? I think that if you get that you will be very lucky and will appraise it at $xxx. p.s. I'm not a pro
I'm asking for your opinion. It's simple. I'm saying this domain name is worth more than €1500 compared to domains I have already sold. Did you not read my initial post?
Tattu means Ass in Hindi (Ass as in the Donkey/Horse mixup) Thats a one-hindi-word-dot-com-domain! But I think... its best price is Mid to high $xxx IT
Very brandable. 5 letter, 2 syllable, pronounable domains are getting pretty rare. Especially ones that have an actual meaning (in a language other than English), and are a misspelled version of a popular culture trend. You have probably noticed that misspelling common words is also a popular culture trend. The only downside of this domain is that if it's ultimately developed as a Tattoo enthusiasts' site, and people tell their friends verbally to go there, it will have to be spelled out, and many people will not remember the spelling. For this reason, it is probably not a xx,xxx domain. I'd say 1500 GBP is not an unreasonable offer, but you may get 30-60% more with the right buyer. Good luck!
It also means the ancient Egyptian word for "resurrection" apparently. It's also the name of some product: http://www.macramesuperstore.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=M&Category_Code=TM It's also the .com version of TATTU.TV As a disclaimer: I did not know about the last two before I registered the name in 1999.
Thanks colonel99. I absolutely agree with you. It's just very interesting how many enquiries I get about this domain. That makes me think twice about selling cheap.
