Best way to promote a directory

    Yes, the easy part of everything, is to make website. The biggest work is to promote website. As far as i know, you need to Register your directory at catalogs, to write articles, to buy links from other website home pages, to do link exchange, etc.

    What type of directory? Link? Article? To be frank, the net is crawling with them already - but as mentioned above, try and identify sources of traffic logically.

    I would find directory submitter software and talk to the owner to get added. They would love it, it is one more link. You get people knowing about it.
