Contest URGENT CONTEST Small Flash Header contest! $30 prize...

Hi, I have a site that I want a header for. The url is given below.

The flash header should fit with the look and feel of the site theme: http://tinyurl.com/n2bw25 and also fit withing a 780 wide by 160 high space.

I am looking for a nice, slick header, advertising the fact that we run a Press Release service for PR agencies and SEO companies.

The header should be quite graphic based, nice images etc - all based on the theme of press release promotion and brand awareness etc.

The words "Latest press releases, PR updates and brand awareness" should appear in the header at some point in the flash animation.

It would also be good to mention that "We are wholesale only, and offer a professional Press Release publication service for Public Relations / marketing and SEO agencies only, and we don't deal with individual companies. "

The header should get the messages above across effectively (the wording can be changed/shortened as you see fit, so long as the message is the same!).

The images should look very professional... business related etc would be best - things suggesting growth, brand awareness etc etc etc.

This contest is urgent so around 48 hrs (ish) but I may extend if requested by someone wanting to enter...

 

It needs to bee flash animated, or it can be gif animated too?

 

Well, to be fair, I don't know much about animation! - it has to be animated... so long as it looks nice, and a bit slick - I guess most formats are fine

 

Do you own any photos we can you in this banner?

 

Not really... open to suggestions.

I guess a further $5 for istock or other images is okay for the winner (use watermarked as examples until then ;-) )

I did, but it didnt come out too good. I will try fixing it tonight and post it.

EDIT: Wait is this a banner that will advertise the site? Or be used at the top of ur website? And my entry wont include photos. Because $5 will you get maybe one small stock photo.

 

I really don't know much about this business and industry (the whole Press release and PR and SEO stuff) So I just came up with this. Took me about 2 hours in Photoshop. Animation in photoshop can get really tricky when you don't know what your doing ahead of time lol.

- Would it be possible to add an image or two? - Istock maybe? (watermark for now even, I will buy images if we agree on the design )

Also, any way to smooth the animation of the line of text?

I have picked out about 10 istock photos, so I will just see how I can put them in (I wont use all 10 of course) and get you another preview. Maybe I should try and learn Adobe Flash. This is taking me hours in photoshop, flash would probably only take minutes, hmm.

 

Okay here is my new revision, with two istock photos. There is thousands of photos that dealt with internet marketing and brand awareness, etc, but I just figured out what I was going to say and picked the first two pics that fit right. I actually got scared, cause I finished animating it after 30 min, and then the program crashed. Thankfully it somehow saved the file for me (i never knew photoshop did that! maybe a new cs4 features?)

Anyways, here it is (try right clicking and hitting "copy image location" and then paste that into your web browser, I know that DP tends to shrink and compress images when shown directly on the forum):

Been really busy (and stressed)

Many of the wordpress blogs we run have been hacked.

We have had a crazy time, all hands on deck trying to get the hacker out of around 25 blogs, manually :-(

We have sorted it, and are going through all our PMs etc now...

To be honest, what with all that has been happening, I forgot the contest :-(

Well the look of how fast the frames go is highly based on how fast ur internet connection is, or the server. Each frame has a time amount, but connection may slow it down. So I cant guarantee anything. But I can add more frames to try and smooth it out, but even so if someone is on dial-up it might look choppy to them.
