Google updates it's SERPs every now and then, but they update toolbar PR after interval of every 3-4 months.
Constantly - it's almost real time see how long it takes for a thread from digitalpoint to appear - this one has the number 2 spot http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Ho...s=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a

it is dynamic not a special update process. If you webpage gets more backlink, it goes top. Thats all, no any other special things and no need any more lies.
everyday. i sometimes search and realize that after creating an entry. i google for some similar topic yet found out my own post.
SERP's seem to change almost daily. PageRank happens sporadically - between April to July, it happened at least two or three times. Now it seems like it's been months since anything has happened, likely because of the focus on Google Caffeine. Before that, it generally happened every three months on average.
But is there a difference in the speed in which a page shows up and when it is actually ranked? If a new page shows up in a few hours does that mean google has considered its overall weight?
Yeah and does high page rank website gets more priority to be updated first in SERP than those low PR'ed website? Thanks!
Some of my pages favorited in stumbleupon, Most probably diggs in Digg and favorites in Stumble affect SERPs. What would be the frequency for this? How frequently Google calculates the value of backlinks?
