Yes, you should definitely go ahead and list your eBook on Clickbank. The uniqueness about Clickbank is that get many affiliates promoting your product, so if you have good pitch page and background tracking, you can do good with CB.

Thanks all you guys for your great input. I guess the only way for me to find out if it works is to go ahead and do it! I'll return to this thread in a few weeks and give you an update of how it's working out. It might be interesting for other "newbies" to see how I fared by using Clickbank.

If you don't mind me asking, how long have you had your book listed and how long did it take for your affiliates to start to really come onboard?

    Thanks,

Ebooks sell slow. Just look at the gravity for some of the popular ebooks. On average it's around 100 which means 100 affiliates sold the ebook in a period of 8 weeks. If the ebook is $20, then the total money made is $2,000 in a period of 8 weeks or 2 months. The owner of the ebook has to pay the affiliates so if the %/sale is 60%, the publisher is left with $800 for a period of 2 months. It's not bad, but you're not going to be able to make a good living just from this if you live in North America. And I'm talking about popular ebooks here. Most people can barely sell 10 ebooks in an 8 week period. The people that purchase your ebook can also take it and start selling it all over the place without your permission. The only way to get get them is to sue them, but that requires a lawyer and lots of money. I'm not saying that you should not try selling your ebook, but just want to let you know that is not going to replace your day job.

If you are trying to sell digital products, Clicbank is probably about the best place to market them. You will not likely find another venue that works quite as well.

There's some big bucks to be had on Clickbank and the setup is extremely cheap and leniant for new vendors. It's a very competitive market though for publishers and that is even the case for all the proper niche stuff like starting a kettle corn business, getting back with your ex etc.:D
