Whats the role of Heading tags and how to place......?

    Hello Everyone,

    I am new in seo my friend suggest me to place your main keywords in H1, H2, H3 in web page..could you people suggest me where to place and what should be the procedure........?

    In principle, keywords in a H1 tag should carry more weight than those in H2 or body text. Also bold and italic add some weight to the keyword.

    I start each article with a H1 tag, only problem is that I use feedburner for subscriptions and text in H1 tags comes out really ugly in the E-mail distribution.

    Also your page title is very important.

    you can put these heading tags for the headings(with keywords) in your content with maintaining the order h1,h2,h3...

    I would recommend title first. You should optimize the title for your keywords tactically. :)

    heading tag will come at start of the page. it will help in seo if heading tag cover keywords.
