I am waiting of all dp member great knowledge.
I agree. Squidoo is the best for quality, targeted traffic. And it's also good in that it gets indexed very easily. I also get a lot of traffic from Twitter. -Danielle
i wanna add something in it and that is stumble upon. Increase your friends circle there and get huge traffic via sharing pages with friends.
Can i use duplicate content in my squidoo lens like which is already post in articles. Is this way will be beneficial for me to generate traffic.
I believe you can, depending on the rules of the article sites. However, it's important to remember that you would still have to put a lot more work into it since Squidoo isn't just articles. The lenses that are successful have a lot of different modules, graphics, and interactive features. You would have to edit the articles a lot in order to get them to be good candidates for Squidoo. But it's definitely worth it, IMO. -Danielle
From the listed services, squidoo is the best hands down, IMHO. I've only used squidoo, hubpages, blogspot and wordpress. But there are other great ones as well.
I don't know much about the others but I do know that Wordpress is great for hosting websites without looking like someone's blog.
Personally, I think Squidoo is definitely better. There's more of a community so it's easier to get traffic plus there are more tools built-in that can help with promotion and SEO of the lens. In effect it means more traffic to your sites. -Danielle
Squidoo, hubpage, weebly, wetpaint etc. are not social networks. They are web 2.0 sites (user generated content). Social networks means something like twitter, facebook, hi5, ning, etc. Regarding Google Knol you can create article there and get free backlink (it is do-follow, not no-follow if you put link inside of the article). You can also use other web 2.0 sites like webs.com, blogs.com, moontoast.com, wikispaces.com etc. basically anywhere that lets you create a free website or free webspace you can use to gain backlink and traffic to your site.
I am getting good results from www.xing.com. Not in traffic , but in actual members contacting me and buying my services. Regards Wolfgang Brand
