downloading torrents downloading directly from the server , i only got about 160 but, u can download like 7 or 8 files at the same time 160 kbps which is still good. im planning to get hosting from him as soon as i get my funds
160kbps is too slow.. Can it be your torrent source problem? If the torrents are fast 160 kbps for a seedbox is too slow..

I got the other trial account. Most of what I would trade if I was trading here is kind of obscure and not well seeded. (Me and my damn scifi books) Stuck up Open Office and got very good speeds. So good in fact it was done before I could see what the speed was. Another try of something picked at random that I'll delete after the test shows a download of 250kB/sec though with a high of 299kB/sec.

It All Depends on Seeders and Leechers ... On Most Private Torrent Trackers You Get High Speed Such as Torrent Leech , IPTorrent and Many More .. Public Torrents Do not Give Good Speed At Many Times ... And i Suggest SeedBox for Seeding and Maintaing Private Torrent Trackers ... The More Seeders and Leechers a Torrent Has The More Good Speed Result you will See

If that's directed towards me, I understand about torrenting. I'm also with a number of private trackers. I don't see much speed differences between what I grab, public or private. Most of what I'm grabbing is specialized and not well seeded on public trackers. It's nonexistent on private trackers. I'm in need of a seed box because I'm limited on online time. I was hoping for a seedbox where I could stack up torrents in the queue and when one finished, the next one would kick in. This didn't do it so the service wasn't for me. The speed was fine for what I was doing. My comment was more towards the "Public Trackers are slow" statement. My thanks to zalim_prince for his or her time and effort.
Well, I have used a trial a/c, provided by the OP, generously. Here is my review: I used torrents from private trackers, some were well seeded and some were not that well seeded. I was surprised to see max download speed peaking out to ~6MB/s, but on an average hovering around 3~4 MB/s Download speed. Downloading is only 30% for any seedbox, 70% importance for a seedbox is how it UPLOADS. Now the torrents that I downloaded from private tracker, I started to upload it, and to my amazement I saw initial speeds hovering around ~400 KB/s and then going up. I let those torrents to seed over night, and voila, in the morning I had seeded more than 4 times on one torrent and another torrent was seeded to 11 times. This was really good, because the private torrent that I used is known to be very difficult to seed there at. I over achieved the goal there. Now, in order to check further, I used a torrent from public tracker. Though I must admit, you cannot get high speed initially, as there are no seeders on high speed lines, as there are in private trackers. So, I saw initially download speed to hover around 90 KB/s then slowly building up tempo to peak at 2.5 MB/s. Upload was another issue, it started at 300KB/s and crept up to highest around 1.5 MB/s. This was my observation with respect to upload and download related to torrents. The OP was very kind nuff to provide me with a FTP a/c to pull the contents to my PC. Well, I pulled some stuff from the OP's server to my PC using FTP. I must admit, I maxed out my ISP's line which is 2 Mbit line. So the FTP performed perfectly. I want to add here that, As with most torrent flux a/c, we are provided with directory browsing facility, allowing users to download stuff using HTTP. I checked out that too. I downloaded the stuff, using HTTP, my download speed hovered around 168 ~ 175 KB/s, which is almost 70% of my ISP line. Though download via HTTP was not that fast as FTP, also If you have a good FTP client, it can resume broken download. but sadly that is not the case with HTTP. I recomend users to prefer FTP over HTTP. A very important point to note here is that, the sever load never went more than 0.45 at anytime of the test. My rating for the seedbox is 4/5. -pranKster.
