    1. Don't suggest to your friends or family to click the ads. Monitor your account and if you see an unusually high click through rate (CTR) report it to Google. Don't purchase any traffic. Read what Google says about invalid clicks:
    https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic=8426

Note that more people appear to be banned for ToS/Program Policy violations than invalid clicks, at least based on the posts here and on the adsense help forum, so focus on not breaking the rules.

    2. Use the "allowed sites" feature from within your Adsense account.

Read the explanation and instructions here:
    https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=11446&ctx=search&query=allowed sites

    3. I don't know what you mean. I don't know how obfuscating the Adsense code would be to your benefit - and you aren't allowed to actually change the code in any way.

The details aren't public, but I believe Google looks for an abnormal pattern of clicks. Some of the behavior that may look abnormal: many clicks from the same IP (especially from your IP), one visitor who clicks multiple ads, visitors who go directly to your web site by typing in the address (rather than clicking a link) and immediately click on an ad, visitors who click on ads but don't actually spend any time on the advertiser's site, and probably other things too.

While invalid clicks aren't necessarily generated by family or friends, it's almost certain that family & friends who try to "help you earn" by clicking the ads will appear to behave differently than ordinary visitors to your site.
