Hey there DP Alexa ranking fans thought I'd share some interesting results from the recent 'movers and shakers' list. Well it's happening Facebook is now the second most popular site on the web, Twitter is rising into the top 10, Google have their spot/s secure and it looks like Yahoo is dropping slightly from their usual 2nd position. It also looks as if Bing have the 5th position (though someone should tell Alexa staff that it's no longer live search!) alexa.com/topsites ________________________________________________________________ Top Sites The top 500 sites on the web. ________________________________________________________________ 1. Twitter is kinda fixed for marketing purpose now and not taken as a social network but facebook is still playing a good role as it's a social network + a marketing tool so it's good for facebook
The problem twitter has for those kinds of stats is nobody that has used it seriously ever bothers going to the website and uses a decent client instead.
Meh, I'm not a big fan of FaceBook. Use to spend my senior year on MySpace though. I've heard/read a lot of "Twitter is for old people trying to feel young" DP is #280!
