Hello I have done an online purchase using my Yuva debit card and my payment got canceled but they have not return my money after 25 days.how can i get refund using SBI Yuva Purchase protection insurance of Rs 5000 Thank you
The merchant with whom you have done the online transaction needs to charge back the amount, The bank can nothing in this case unless you report the transaction to be fraudulent, Ask the merchant to charge back and the amount should be back in your account in a forthnight
The Purchase Protection Insurance will cover material goods send within India, and if proven of material being tampered/broken in transit. Do remember its insurance and not charge back as explained by rome. Follow rome's advice as this charge back cannot be effected by SBI.
Are you sure that your payment got cancelled? Do you have that transaction id? Did your merchant confirm that the amount is refunded? Is the website authenticated or a fraud? Did you check if it has httpS - "S" in the url while making transaction? Is the transaction legal? btw, why did you wait for 25days long? The refund gets into your acc in 3-4days. Atleast my Axis bank does that.
