Did many of your sites get banned by Google recently?

    Hi,

Over the past few weeks, many of my sites who have been indexed in Google for over 6 months have all suddenly got banned and de-indexed by Google. :( Do you experience the same thing too?

Please advise on why this bad thing happened and can I ask Google for the reasons too? Thank you.

    banned or penelized?

type your domain name in Google with the .com bit

    example.com

    Then without

    example

If your does not show for example.com then you are banned, if it does but then you dont rank for your domain name without .com then check the top 100 and see if you are in 50th place or so.. if this is the case then you have a penalty.

What I mean is that my sites are de-indexed from Google, and when you type "info:xxxxxxx.com", no result will be displayed.

    Any thought?

Some of them do, but some of them do not.
For certain cases, I bought an aged domain (which was indexed in Google when buying) and then start building a website on it. After a few days, the site got banned as well.

P.S. they are hosted in the same server with same IP

Well interesting theory Well i did the same thing for my site free-resume-examples.org, and without .org its showing my site on forth page, but with .org it showing my site on first page. why so, my site is 8 month old and have pr4 to on it, then why its showing on forth page???? is that mean that i get penalty from google???? (P.S: before three week my site on first five results for very main keyword but now its lost it )*

Isn't that what the caffeine update is all about? They said it was going to be better for indexing but what they didn't say was that webpages with no or little value are going to be dropped to have a better search index.

If your site is really banned (unless I know the URL I can't make a comment), there can be 2 reasons:
    1. Automatic ban
    2. Manual Ban
I have faced a manual ban once and in that ban Google was so ruthless that it banned almost all the websites that had my name on it. My mistake was, I used to purchase high PR web-sites, delete all their contents and then build a mammoth site of million pages in finance and post it on that URL.

If you did sth similar, then it may be a manual ban. However first ensure it is a ban, not the penalty.

If you search for site:www . your domain.com, do you see any results?

For all my sites, the number of indexed pages has decreased significantly. This has happened about a week ago and the number of indexed pages is still decreasing.

May be your site is not banned and that the indexed pages have decreased.

Ouch. Manual bans are hard to get out of, if not impossible.

Cool  But that's not against their ToS, don't see why it would lead to a ban. Buying a domain is legit, building a mammoth site is legit too... You sure there wasn't anything else?

That specific clause is nothing against the written TOS, but Google really frowned upon it. It is because I was ruling all possible SERPs for few weeks. It was such a big enemity with big G that once I said Hello to Matt Cutts on WMR, he responded in his blog summarizing the event saying I said hello to him. His msg to me is most of my stuff is shoot at sight. It was scary to know knowing that MC knows you by name, that too by your chat name.
Anyway gone are the days. Now my system is clean.:)

My site was banned by manual...
After that I clean my site by remove spam things or any cheats...
And then trying submit social bookmark and make back links... more and more...
It took a bit of time to be back...

I guess it would be automatic ban as there are many sites banned in a short period of time. No matter I use "info:..." or "site:...." to search in Google, no result shown.

Is it really due to the Caffeine Update? If yes, is that update ended, or is it an on-going process?
