How do you join a affiliate network when trying to start a site?

    Why for most affiliates networks you need a site to join? Suppose you want to start a new site for the affiliate network, how are you going to have a site when you don't yet have access to their products? Its hard to explain...
    Suppose I want to start a review site for diet pills but I need to choose an affiliate network to decide what products I want to market, So I dont yet have a site. Could someone explain

    Some programs will accept you if you just put that you are an e-mail marketer and then just explain to them you will be building a website too.

    Other Programs (like mine) Don't mind bringing on a new person and helping them grow.

    If you want to promote online casino's i'm an Affiliate Manager and will set you up with an account and tools to get you going.

    For the other networks the best i can offer is a best of luck :).

    Neverblue is another CPA that you don't necessarily need a site to join, but they do interview you over the phone.

    its important for them to see your site first because they do not accept sites that promote violence and pornography so they have to confirm this before you are accepted in their network

    It will help you get approved if you have a site but you don't need the products to launch a site. Start with content about the NICHE - write weight-loss and dieting articles. This will create some spider food to start attracting some traffic as well as give merchants something to look at, so they know your site is related. (It could also be a blog instead of a site.)
