I need to get my website submitted to DMOZ. If you can help me please send me a PM. The problem is, I have tried in the past to get it submitted. But it just didn't get submitted. So I need someone to help me get it submitted to DMOZ. Thank you.
If you have submitted, why do you need someone else to submit it? Once its submitted, there is nothing more that can be done. Move on. Forget about it.
Well it didn't get accepted. So I need someone to resubmit it and get it accepted. NOTE: Just send me a Private Message (PM) if you are an editor for DMOZ. Please do not waste your time nor mine if you are not an editor.
What will happen if you never get listed in DMOZ? Is your life going to stand still and you'll stop sleeping, eating etc. or you'll go alone with your life and live another day? I have good news for you. Today is that day fastreplies
It works the same way it has always worked. You or any member of the public can suggest a site. DMOZ editors look for sites to list. They may or may not use the suggested sites as one of the sources they use to find new sites.
Agent000 is right on a base level. However, he didn't go into the WHO. It was formed by the founders to get the word out on their own sites (see the number of TOPIX listings). Many editors still list their own sites get help get the word out on them....though word no longer spreads like it used to, so there is a new batch of editors working on DMOZ2.0, and in the heart of hearts, they are working in kind. You can expect the second version to be up and running in up to two weeks or more!
just like a short note here , I don't know if you understand a thing , we all know here it's a queue list for the sites to be '' evaluated '' , it's a normal thing and most of the peoples understand that thing perfectly ... what those peoples don't understand are things like '' discrepancy '' .... let me tell you one example short : example 1. site A suggested let say at date 02. april 2009 , into category X , of course the guy who suggested this site A ... will check after few months ... then finally after months of waiting the category list it's updated and of course hes site wasn't showing up .... checking new added sites , all of them (* 3 new sites added new on this category .... ) registration date , 04 april 2009 .... ALL 3 ! . NB. of course the dates was altered by me just because I consider at this moment the privacy of them it's important and I consider this guy deserve it . example2 . Into one of the categories from dmoz , it's a small corner for some specific '' type '' of sites , last time when I checked there was a number of sites added , was really impressed about how much peoples was thinking about this , and honestly considered myself a '' lucky '' one ... ok .... now funny part it's except 2 of the sites added here all others using same script , it's a known bogus script (* will not say the name here on public of course from serious reasons ) , only thing what it's important at this script it's another paid service witch it's '' using '' sites who use this script .... the service it's paid - the script it's free and is bogus ... NOW ... think yourself and take the conclusions NB2. everyone can check my past posts from here and from resource-zone forum , and peoples can see when I said about other example of sites added abusively and totally without following the guidelines . NOW ... my question it's ... those sites from last two examples ...what's the catch with them ?
As for the example 1, let me tell you DMOZ editors have changed the word queue by pool in order to make reality fit their lies. Nowadays they say "there is a pool of suggested sites, editors sort the site in the pool as they wish". Funny thing is, they can sort the pool as they wish but they can't build a script for preventing users suggesting a site twice or more. Every time an editor tries to explain why DMOZ behaviour is so strange, they start contradicting themselves. In the end, DMOZ is less comprehensible and more suspicious with every explanation.
Really? I think you lie! I have been around SEO for many many years and as far as I know, its has always been called a "pool" of sites. I have never ever seen DMOZ call it a "queue". They never changed it. I think what you meant to say is that you have always had a misunderstanding about DMOZ, that you finally now understand. You just choose to pretend there was a chaage as you want to make a point as you have a 'chip on your shoulder' about DMOZ and it suit you to not be truthful. Could you please explain why you choose to make this up for? What are you hoping to achieve by not being truthful?
Really? No, I mean really http://www.dmoz.org/guidelines/editall/ Mentioned 9 times. I counted fastreplies
The word queue usually implies an orderly First In First Out method of organising things. It's never been like that for pending URLs and it probably never will be. Editors prefer to use the pool word these days so as to avoid confusion. I suppose we could have used sweet dish instead . Nothing worth picking a fight over .
only fight witch is not worth to do it's from those morons who are still trying to communicate with you guys decently ...
Oh Jim, I love when you talk dirty! Give it to me baby, give it to me hard.. oh, I love it! I promise to be harsh to Jim next time but.... this time, I just can't resist to be "nice" to him fastreplies
