    Hi All

If you have a look at my computer repair site

I would like your opinions on how to better SEO it.

We get around 1000 uniques per week and we rank quite well for certain computer repair related keywords but I'd like make it better.

    Comments, opinions and suggestions welcome.

    Regards

    Hi,

I like what you have done with the resources section. I presume you have found highly searched keywords phrases such as "Set up a wireless network" and "Backup vista" and created pages with content and those phrases in the URL.

You have also added these keyword phrases in the meta tags, although I think you could afford to add extra related keyword phrases to the keywords meta tags on each page.

The only bit where I think you have missed a trick is to use the keyword phrase in the page content more often than just in the title.

Other than that, if your business is dependant on it's location, ie bricks and mortar business, then you might need to build the SEO for "Lanarkshire" and other location based keywords.

Anyway, nice looking site and you definitely seem to know what you are doing. :)

    Cheers,

    Sam

As the provider of a one way link building service I could just say " build more links". However, I am wondering why you want more traffic?

1000 people per week for a regional PC repair service is a a lot. Are you getting many new customers saying they found you via your website? Is it that you are not getting the right traffic rather than not enough?

You say you are right up there for local search terms, so why do you want to improve it? What are you hoping to gain other than non-local traffic which seems pointless? Perhaps its a traffic conversion issue, you are getting local traffic but your site is not clear enough on what you provide? Just some thoughts.

The answer to this question is key. If you are looking go into other regions or expand then more linking can help. If you are focusing just on your area, I would look a little less at rankings and devle into the architecture/analytics of your site.

    Hi,
Here is a list of the stuff you can do

    - Write 1 or 2 IT howto's every week
    - Compile IT Glossary
    - Start a forum
    - Increase your backlinks by social bookmarking, submitting to forums and to do follow blogs. There are so many good resources for IT stuff

    OK

    The first point I do.

As for a glossary - I'll look into it.

A forum I just do not have the time to maintain

    Hi,

As you get many visitors but not many sales, how about turning those visitors into subscribers using your free guides and then selling on the back end?

I am going to ask something that may seem as a dumb question:

are you sure all those visitors are legit? Are you sure that those do not include bots, spambots etc?

What is your conversion rate anyway?

    Hi There

Yes they are legit. I wouldnt have thought around 1000 per week was alot.

How many people do you think get infected by spyware per week? We have a removal guide that ranks well for that.

Ok . You need to do regular work on Directory, Article, Social Bookmarking, Press Release submission and blog and forum commenting and some good quality Link Exchange.
