Hey there, I have recently coded my Twitter Class RemoteTweet and made a website to accompany it. www.remotetweet.com You don't have to review the code itself, but I would appreciate if you could review the layout and the structure of the website. If you feel any features are missing, feel free to suggest. Many thanks, Sam.
Nice class you've got there, I like that you dedicated an entire site to it. - Anyway, I'd make the navigation column smaller. It looks too thick at the moment. - The navigation links, at least add an underline or something. Make em stand out a little. I also don't like that they are centered. (And I don't like that you put an adsense unit in between them, but that's your chocie) Personally I wouldn't do that as now less people will notice your twitter follower button. - Change that twitter button to an icon or something. - Perhaps use a different shade of orange. - You're using some kind of javascript for the code highlighting, very annoying on my system as it's only doing it after a second or so, resulting in flashes of unstyled content.
1. I think the navigation depends on what resolution your monitor is. Mine is quite large so it looks an alright size. I'll see if anyone else picks that up. 2. I've added an underline to the links, however I cannot see a better place for the AdSense. I need to make my hosting costs back somehow. 3. Added a twitter icon. 4. I appreciate your opinion, but I tested a lot of oranges and found this was my preferred. 5. I agree with you here, however I cannot find a syntax highlighter which doesn't have this problem.
Nice design and to the point information. Like that it is so specific. Navigation left column could be a bit narrower since there is a lot of margin there. Guestbook? well, if you want interactions with users and have time to do it = sure integrate guestbook or even simple forum. good work overall
My only worry with a guestbook is the capability for a lot of spam on my website. Writing something wordpress would be proud of could take a very long time. Thanks!
