What is the best way of getting 1st on google? Do i need to build lots of backlinks or do i have to generate views/traffic. I have already optimize my site to 96% SEO SCORE. Help would be appreciate, Thanks
Quality backlinks from relevant sites with link text matching the keyword phrase(s) you want your URL to rank for is the fastest way to the top. Generating traffic to your URL doesn't affect how you rank in the SERPs unless some of the traffic happens to be other webmasters who as a result link to your URL.

There are a lot of SEO techniques available. If you are new to SEO, it helps by getting some basic training like some SEO books. Get an overall idea on SEO, then start experimenting with different techniques.
Doing a large number of backlinks, even quality backlinks will not make you rank on top if your focusing on the wrong keyword! Make sure this step is not forgotten!

Hi Davocool, The real question here is how do you rank first on Google for a specific keyword phrase. To do this you first need to optimise a pages or pages on your site for the keyword phrase you have targetted. prefereably something that is searched for alot every day. You do this by creating text content which states this keyword phrases often (don't over do it) and which is used in the title, url, keywords metatags and description meta tag. Then, as everyone says, you need to build lots of backlinks to this page and they should be backlinks from good quality websites which Google already consider to be high in their search ranking for that phrase. There are many ways to get these backlinks: article submissions, social bookmarking, blog posts, blog commenting, forum posting, minisites etc tec. Hope that helps, Sam
Get a lot of quality backlinks and your keyword as the link, that'll help you rank higher in search engines with that keyword. Also make a good quality content so people will link to that.
Like others have said, you are going to need backlinks to rank high on the serps. Depending on how competitive your keyword is will decided how much work will be involved to become 1st on google.
Get more backlinks from related niche sites. Specially do more blog comments + article submissions + blogging. These will help you to get to page 01 on google.

Views/traffic of your website don't affect your SER. I suggest you better work hard on your content plus building links. You must also analyze your competition in order to know what plan your going to act.
