free 6 page rank link

I have found a foum thread page which is a PR 6 Page, if I'll leave a comment there with my anchor text link will it help my SERP? its inrelevent to my website theme but it has 6 PR.. please reply

 

Getting link from related themed site is more important, link from unrelated site will not help even if high pr page

nah that forum belongs to a 9 page rank website's (Home page) forum page and that thread has only 1 page (PR6) and you have the option to leave your comment with your signatures there

No, if it is not related to your niche then don't get a link from that page. Even it is a PR 6, it effects negatively. If you get a link, some times Google leaves small mistakes. At that time, you may get good PR like 4.

 

I didnt understand what you want to say> a 6 backlink from good site (but not relevant) would hurt my site? some one pls explain should I delete my link from there? according to this I should remove my signatures from DP also?

Wrong.
Even if the niche of the page your backlink is on is not related to your website niche, link juice is still passed on. Go ahead and comment/post, and yeah, if i were you i would keep this a secret, revealing a link will welcome more posters/spammers,etc. and the link juice passed to every individual do-follow link decreases.

 

Thats absolutely BS, A link is a link, it's just stronger on a high authority site that Google think is popular or important.

I'd take a link on a PR6 page that was high authority then a link relating to my niche which has some pr but is unknown. The only good thing about a related link is you may receive some traffic for a day or 2

If it's dofollow, then good. Try to don't spam in it. Leave post and put the link in signature . That is better way

 

Get the links, You may improve your PR but not sure how long you can keep it!!

 

Unless you're going to build links on industrial scale from spammy sites using the same anchor text anytime then it won't harm the page whatsoever. If that was the case then everybody would spend their time spamming their competitors sites to get them removed/lowered in the rankings.
